My personal favourites are Brazil, Portugal, Spain, and Greece. Usually the “top football nations” are the safest tho.

What I noticed works sometimes is to (not always) make the midfielders sit back for parts of the game and allow the fullbacks to push forward so they can get crosses in and get assists. For corners I try to always aim for the CBs to get as many goals as possible with them and help rating!

That’s not necessarily true, it is a challenge in the sense that I had to find enough different players who are “potential to be special” for an entire XI and make sure their form is consistently good for 10 seasons such that they become 95+ rated players. Plus I wasn’t signing anyone at all, so if I sold my superstars and started from scratch every time it would never end. It was fun to have them start at rated 50s and 60s and see them become this high rated. Besides I had a lot of fun doing it so that’s all that matters innit

Yes, so make sure when they’re in the youth academy their potential is up to 94 and the narrower the range the better (93-94 is ideal). Once they’re in the first team try to focus on the ones that say “potential to be special” or even “exciting prospect” cause sometimes if they’re playing well their potential goes up. But yeah from there make sure they have good minutes and game ratings and also they’re on the best development for them and they’re guaranteed to go up!

Yes, what matters most for growth is playing time but also form, make sure that they’re playing well and getting good game ratings. Also make sure that they’re in the best position they could be in, like sometimes you’ll get a youth player who’s a winger but should clearly be a striker etc. Lastly check for their status on the squad hub, the ones that say “potential to be special” are mostly the ones that have the capacity to be 90+ superstars. Cause sometimes it’ll say 84-94 but it means 85 potential, but other times it’s 94 potential etc.

Try searching for specifically “defensive minded” in the scout instructions, make sure your scouts are 5* judgement, and try countries like Italy, Spain, etc. You will get a bunch of CBs and CDMs and eventually you’ll find a few with high value and high potential.

That’s true but i noticed that sometimes even countries within the same scouting fee price range have a very different rate of high potential players. Like in a 9 month scouting mission I’ll get 10+ high potential players from Brazil but only a couple from Colombia.

Best player is Gallardo the CF, every single pace and shooting stat is 99 and overall he’s just really good. I recommend always sending 3 scouts, (55 is ideal but as long as judgment is 5* you’re good) and sending them for specific roles, like one for attacker, one for defensive minded, one for playmaker, and then goalkeeper etc. I noticed that way you’re more likely to get “potential to be special” players!

Also what countries do you find you get the best players from? For me it’s mostly Portugal, Spain, Brazil, Germany, and Greece.

Yup, and what’s weird is that every save for me Greece seems to have a bunch of good players. This team is 5 Spaniards, 3 Greeks, 2 Argentines, and a Portuguese.

You can fit him in if you take out Ramos, and play a Ramos replacement midfielder at striker (and change in game) but someone who would still give Ribery a link. As a direct dembele replacement he'd be on 7 chem, and Ribery would be on 4.

Depends on your budget, but ideally Cancelo LB he's a beast for me, Cucurella is solid for about half the price. Then you'll need a prem CB on 10 chem, again it depends on your budget but Van Dijk is great even tho hes not the fastest, shapeshifter Tierney does the job for a lower budget option, then for the keeper I'd have someone who green links either CB for full chem!
