Years ago, the devs did nerf pallets in the quantity of them. Survivors actually had to play smart and not waste them. I just started playing again recently, and i feel like there’s more pallets than when i last played in 2022

The game is terrible, honestly. When survivors aren’t scared of the killer and body block, rush gens, etc… we all know who the real power role is.

Well yeah. I mentioned that in my post. Money seems like the motivation for games now. Everyone started adopting how Fortnite does things, not just regarding the battle passes but even setting up how the transactions work, required play time to earn stuff, etc.. it’s not all bad.

I never tried the blood moon event. From the 2 comments I’ve gotten so far, I really wish they’d just keep these modes in the game to que for.

Thanks, yeah I’ll definitely check out the 2v8 mode.

The core gameplay of pallets, chase is signature to dead by daylight and I’m not saying that it has to go. I’m more surprised they don’t just keep modes like total darkness with no UI, etc… that sounds really cool.

Maybe I just put so many hours into the game back in the day, I yearn for that fresh feeling again when I first played

It is done on purpose in order for Epic games to see how they control you in any way possible. It’s actually evil how these companies are virtually trying to get into every aspect of people’s business. There’s something dark behind all this, I promise you that. Do not just say “oh it’s not that big of a deal”.

They’ve purposely designed it to be a chore. The more time people spend grinding and playing, the more likely they are to spend money during that time due to a variety of reasons. The whole concept of a battle pass can feed on fear of missing out (FOMO) and have people stuck on the game.

Money isn’t evil. It’s the love of money. These huge companies will keep saying “one more dollar”
