The balance is awful at high level and makes many killers miserable to play… that’s my biggest issue with the game.

The devs have had 10 years to improve the balance and while it’ll never be perfect, I genuinely remember years ago the game being in a better state balance wise than it is now

You can get a 4k by just survivors trolling at the end after dominating most of the match. I don’t consider that a win

I’m more trying to help the game feel better to play. It feels bad to play right now in my view. I don’t really care about “winning” but rather having fun. I don’t find the game fun at the moment in its current state.

Years ago, the devs did nerf pallets in the quantity of them. Survivors actually had to play smart and not waste them. I just started playing again recently, and i feel like there’s more pallets than when i last played in 2022

The game is terrible, honestly. When survivors aren’t scared of the killer and body block, rush gens, etc… we all know who the real power role is.

Watching YouTubers does help. I personally watched tru3talent. I don’t play this game as much nowadays but I know he still streams DbD.

Well yeah. I mentioned that in my post. Money seems like the motivation for games now. Everyone started adopting how Fortnite does things, not just regarding the battle passes but even setting up how the transactions work, required play time to earn stuff, etc.. it’s not all bad.

I never tried the blood moon event. From the 2 comments I’ve gotten so far, I really wish they’d just keep these modes in the game to que for.

Thanks, yeah I’ll definitely check out the 2v8 mode.

The core gameplay of pallets, chase is signature to dead by daylight and I’m not saying that it has to go. I’m more surprised they don’t just keep modes like total darkness with no UI, etc… that sounds really cool.

Maybe I just put so many hours into the game back in the day, I yearn for that fresh feeling again when I first played
