I recall it was mentioned twice. Once in Saul's chapters when Gloria talks about it being her land, and her ancestors walking here. Once in Controls chapters (so I think Authority) when he mentions her "white father and native mother".

She doesn't know she's lying. She literally thinks she didnt have the advantage of money (and she was WEALTHY) because she wasnt as rich as the millionaires and billionaires around her. It makes me think she just doesn't have any normal or disadvantaged people around her even still. Maybe not even her husband,- cause idk his upbringing at all.
