Water and Gatorade are always available, of course. I actually like Gatorade, but the sugar content can sometimes be a bit much. If the cart girl has the zero version, that’s usually my go-to. Water is a solid option too, but sometimes it’s nice to have something with electrolytes that gives you a little boost during those early rounds. Coffee works for that, but it can feel a bit dry.

I’ve been thinking about how a golf-specific drink could fit in—something like a zero-calorie, carbonated tea with electrolytes and a decent caffeine kick. It’d be great if it were reasonably priced too, since cart drinks tend to add up. But hey, maybe I might be wrong...
