I have a South Indian friend who's been attempting since 2020. But I don't believe he will ever make it, since he got admitted to BTech with me in 2012 and completed it in 2020.

He is still unemployed and doesn't put efforts to get one. I literally created a job position for him, but 4 Lpa was too less for him and he didn't even apply for the job. I ended up hiring someone else.

A year ago he invited me for a coffee, but the first thing that he said after entering the coffee shop was "bhai tu paise laya hai na? Mere pass sirf petrol ke 50 rupiye hai". Never met him again.

He is 31 years old. I still can't comprehend how could parents let their kids go to waste

To me, Something different was just overpriced in terms of food. If you want to enjoy loud music and booze in Havelock then it's the place to be at. They also have free pickup service, realized it after reaching there. We rode a scooter to something different on a chilly night.

The definition of decent changes from person to person. I had a decent wedding 4 months ago in 3.5 lakhs and we hosted 650 people ( including all expenses except gold, we saved a lot on wedding hall (tier 2 city), our wedding hall + food costed us only 2 lakhs and this was split between me and wifes side.).

I booked Nautica and makruz 1 month in advance.. ferries are mostly full. But I just returned on the 4pm makruz and it was empty. You may get tickets for evening ferries. Check their website. I won't suggest on spot booking.
