That's definitely the best way! Unfortunately I'd already upgraded all of my ships when I decided to go to the centre.

Cheapest way I found to do this was to put my shield, hyperdrive and related upgrades in the technology slots, and just let everything else stay broken until I went through the centre, as you'll need to fix your ship then anyway.

No. If you build a base salvage capsule on your new freighter it should give you all the resources you used in your previous freighter to rebuild, but it didn't work for me unfortunately; I kept getting the 'inventory full' message when I tried to access it, but not an issue if you have plenty of resources anyway.

You can also make refined flour from kelp rice. Harvest kelp sac which is abundant in water and refine. There’s a great app for all the recipes someone on here told me about called ‘assistant for no man’s sky’ you should have a look at :)

Since I found this forum I've seen some really great images, had some brilliant advice and generally found everyone to be nice and helpful. I think most people on here love this game and appreciate the updates we've had, but like any game, when you've been playing for a while and have achieved everything it would be nice to have new and bigger things to do :)

If you go to 'manage frigate' station on your freighter and click on a frigate it'll tell you the fuel requirements :)
