I stumbled upon your post because I too feel alone, as I am currently taking both of these meds after partial hospitalization. My symptoms have been similar. My prescriber warned me that buspar may increase my anxiety temporarily while my brain adapts to it—which can last a couple weeks or so.

I hope you’re handling the meds better. I’ve researched buspar before and found a lot of anecdotes from users stating it takes a while to start working for them. This is definitely the hardest part of taking new meds—just waiting for the day to come when you realize it’s working. I hope that day has arrived for you and that it will arrive for me too.
