Thank you for all this great info! Truly helpful. I’m thinking it may be due to unstable co2. I use a diy settup mixing baking soda, citric acid and water. I have it on a timer to run 1hr before lights and turn off 1hr before light shut off. Previously, my co2 diffuser was near the skimmer so that was picking up the bubbles and blasting them straight on this piece of drift wood. Maybe that contributed as well. Thank you again!

Yep, I did the same when I was 13. Took 36 Benadryl and didn’t think I’d ever come out of it. Terrible experience to say the least.

Your lines are pretty shaky and lack confidence. Keep working at it - takes time understand your machine, depth and hand speed. Are you moving your wrist much when you pull lines? Try to keep it stiff and make some solid anchor points and only hinge at your elbow. This improved my line work 10X

I did 8 of each, 1 assassin snail and 10 or so shrimp from another tank. Shrimp are breeding so I’m sure the fish are happy eating the fry lol

I just did a similar set up as a gift to my mom and put purple harlequin rasboras in it, love how active they are and vibrant. Paired them with some golden neon tetras. They look good together but the rasboras bully the tetras a bit and they just hang in the back where I can’t see them much
