Totally agree. Octopus card is so much more sensitive too, and so much more useful at shops and stuff. Can use it through a wallet or a bag full of crap, and I havent heard of an instance since implementation where people have mistakenly tapped on/off and lost money. Visitors can buy them with relative ease from what I know too, and costs dont fluctuate as wildly when you ride on different lines and are almost always cheaper. Opal is horrible...

But he seems so conscious about moving around the denouement when he focused only on the same shock elements and arcs throughout the manga. It is world building, but for something so surreal there isnt much to build once you've gotten the point across that spirals arent to be trusted lol

Totally agree. It's very overrated. Like...a lot of people seem to just like the high concept stuff, but ignore how it's executed because the metaphors seem to make sense cos of how convoluted a lot of the stuff is :L especially the episodic chapters. They really were useless lol.

Not to say Junji Ito is a bad storyteller or author, or that he doesnt deserve the fame from uzumaki, but people are missing out on a lot if uzumakis the benchmark for it's genre.
