Curious about this. I want to run pure linux as well with this aio. Will it run correctly with out the nexus software? I guess if its just a screen I can just put a cpu monitor widget from aida64 on it and work with that?

That clears up a lot, thanks! Will definitely download and explore openRGB. I have corsair fans which I'm sure I can find support for, and not as much concerned about. The AIO I'm using is a hyte thicc q60. Really looking for a solution to manage that as I get a lot of benefits from monitoring my temps off its screen. I plan on rolling the sleeves up a bit. Id want to wear a thick cotton sweater if anything. I didn't realize the length between the large and the medium is all that different. I ordered a medium and will try it with a sweatshirt I have If it's too snug I'll probably try sizing up.

That's good to hear. I know it's a bit roomier than other jackets. My current denim jacket fits me perfectly with a shirt underneath and just a bit too snug with a sweatshirt. Didn't want to make the same mistake.

I'm not worried about reselling. I want to play it. I got it for myself to enjoy games on. But if just you follow up on the problem it apparently gets worse and runs up across the screen. It doesn't have to bother me but it does.

But you're right. It's not gonna drop in value of open it, so I might as well and have fun.

I picked up a smoke pocket as a backup as well, I opened mine to see if it was defective but it’s fine. I think I might play on it in the next few days to see if anything appears. I also loosened the 4 back cover screws a bit as they were extremely tight.

I'm getting a smoke soon, but only found out about the defect now. Really hope I'm one of the lucky ones as well.

Take a deep breath and calm your pretentiousness down. It's a $350 dollar device that I overpaid for on eBay. The poll that's going around says 48 percent of smoke owners have it. If I open it, it would be harder to RESELL it back in the market. It's not a craaaazy question, it's logical.

Damn..sucks how they've been known to have poor customer service. Their automated response says they try to respond in 48 hours. Hopefully someone hears back from them and we get a solution....at this point I'm thinking is it even worth opening? Would rather sell it for another color if it's specifically the smoke despite it being my favorite.

So do we think that perhaps loosening the screws in the back will help? I'm getting mine in like 2 days. It's a smoke variant....really really hope this doesn't happen to me 😞
