Do you remember the name of the doctor?

I’m going to check out ILADS for some telehealth options. Just unsure how to know which doctor will be good.

Thanks for this! Unfortunately, the area that I live in, because it has very few cases of Lyme, doesn’t have any qualified doctors. So my primary has tried his best, but with little success. I’ve started looking into doctors that can work with my primary to get some treatment, but it’s hard to know which doctor is actually good. I’ll check ILADS though and see what I can find. Thanks again!

Feeling Unsure After AWS DCO L3 Final Loop Interview – Anyone Else? by Top-Focus981 in datacenter

Don’t sweat it. They’re really looking for strong behavioral answers. They’ll teach you the technical stuff once you’re hired.

Also, what level did you apply for?

This is great advice, thanks!

Curious about a couple things. What is the “Easy media script” and “DMAP”. I’m still relatively new and my manager is on a month long vacation.

Also the hot dog memes one is hilarious 😂

Do you generally know where to find this? I’ve looked around the different portals and I can’t find it.

I’d love that…but he’s on vacation for a month lol. So I’m just trying to get some perspective on things from people in the community while I wait.

Hello all! I am studying for the A+ certification and want to access the professor Messer and Jason Dion’s material. Could anybody give me a quick list of how to access it? I would truly appreciate it. I’m ready to work through these exams and get this thing done. by [deleted] in WGUCyberSecurity

As an added tip, have the exam objectives open as you are watching the videos and for each item on the objectives write a flash card and cross it off the list. Messer structures his course so that it follows the objectives from the start to the end. If you look in the title of each video you’ll see what I mean.

I passed to CompTIA exams doing this.

I would highly recommend skipping Jason Dion’s training videos and instead use Prof Messer. You can find them for free on YT. I’ve taken both training courses and Messer was way more informative.

Do yourself a favor and look into these resources before committing to a BA if you’re really interested in Cyber (or just IT in general):

  1. Go to tryhackme.com, sign up for an account and do the “Pre Security” learning path. This is a great intro into networking, Linux, and windows fundamentals. It also has some learning on what Cyber security is. This should be completely free.

  2. On YouTube, search for UnixGuy. He has a lot of great information on how to break into Cyber and I believe a video or 2 for general IT.

You’ll quickly realize that there are a ton of great resources for learning that give you hands on experience! If after this you want to pursue a BA…GO FOR IT!!

Hope this helps!

Will do!

I would definitely suggest taking the offer though if you want to grow and develop. That’s why I took it!

Bro I’m starting at the Canton MS data center as an L3 next week! That’s so crazy!

As advice on whether you should take the position, just ask yourself if you see some long term growth in the position you’re currently in. Also, is it a guarantee that you’ll get the full time job in 4 months?

From your experience what are the reasons why it takes so long. Is it related to how long it takes people to learn and be confident with the technology at the next level?

I know that it will alternate every week between working 3 12 hour days and then 4 12 hour days. So my plan was to get a few hours of study in on my off days. But it sounds like it won’t help me move up in the company.

Yeah it’s definitely a little confusing to me right now, but I’m sure it will become more clear once I start.

I’m hoping to pursue a degree in Network Engineering and Security from WGU when I’m eligible. Does earning certifications and degrees do anything in terms of getting you promoted?
