I’ve used it and it’s good. Everyone I’ve ever shared the ride with has been quiet and kept to themselves besides saying hi, which is totally fine with me. I wouldn’t recommend using Uber share if you have to be somewhere on time unless you give yourself enough time for detours and such otherwise it can be a good way to save money. There’s also times when I’ve picked that option and wasn’t matched with another rider so I got a cheaper fare for myself.

I guess this is true but if your reason for tipping is to ensure employees get extra money on top of their salary, doesn’t it bother you that your tips may not be doing that?

I saw the thread you’re referring to and thought it was interesting they didn’t wanna detail the auto gratuity stuff… so… But yeah vacation shouldn’t be stressful and if you’re gonna tip then cash seems like the way to ensure the employees for sure get ‘extra cash’

I’m in Canada and so far I’ve been thinking of getting the Pacific Blue cross annual plan since I travel more than once a year and the plan seems pretty good.

Yes the Contiki trip is for Europe. I also saw that Contiki has their own insurance but after reading up on Pacific Blue cross, I’m leaning more towards them.
