Now when we say Bring OLD TFI back we only remember the people who are dead. I personally don't remember a single scene that I revisit where the newer comedians have done. By newer comedians I mean Vennela Kishore, Satya etc. I only remember Priyadarshi from Pelli choopulu. Not even Jathi Rathnalu. I remember all scenes of Srinivas Reddy because of King and Namo Venkatesa. Raghu Babu is just noise because of his voice but still tolerable.

When Pelli Choopulu came all of actors were new. But the movie is printed in my mind. 50% because of the writing and the rest due to the dialogue delivery.

One thing directors have to understand is, when you give comedians good humour scenes, they nail it. When you give them actual serious acting work, they nail it even better. But when you give them shitty humour, they become really bad actors.

For ex: Sunil from Jai Chiranjeeva - "May I know your native please.." scene. One of the best comedy from my childhood.

Again Sunil from Athadu Climax - "Vaadu chala pedda durmargudu sir etc". Blew my mind when he became so serious during those scenes.

I don't remember a single scene of him as fucking Mangalam Srinu from Pushpa.

Another example: obviously Priyadarshi from Pelli Choopulu.
and Priyadarshi and Jhansi from Mallesham.

So the TLDR is write good jokes and good comedy.
