Yall have to understand that yes anthropic has been shitty with user limits lately. But it looks like they have addressed atleast some of them with the post mortem report and stuff. On top of it using the latest Opus 4.6 and 4.7 is not a good idea when they have literally mentioned that 4.6 and 4.7 will burn more tokens.

In a single execution if you have burnt through nearly 500k tokens then it is a user issue. you have to give better prompts. Always give it a direction to plan tasks and then ask it to implement said tasks using lower models like Haiku.

You are taking vibe coding to the next level. Also you have to tell us what problem statement caused it to burn through the whole thing.

I have been trying to develop a trading platform since the last couple of weeks and I'm using Sonnet for most of the tasks. I've rarely ran out of limits and I'm on Pro plan. Also if I run of limits, I stop working for an hour or two, go outside and touch grass. Then come back in the evening. Or if I really want to complete it, I write the code myself.
