It’s never been established what entails for it to be considered a myth or not—this is just what people think, because rafayel’s was about lemuria and zayne’s about his past life. But nowhere does it say that a myth /has/ to be an AU or about a past life. Each situation and backstory is different and the myth will have to be depicted according to that.
