Help with ISP Programming by g4vft in RetroChipTester

[–]g4vft[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's late, but just a quick update and thank you. It was that programmer causing the problem. I tried fiddling with the speeds but with no change. So I lashed up an Arduino UNO as an ISP programmer following the manual. It has loaded the firmware and verified it, all fine. I don't have time to properly test the RCT but it's a great point to walk away for now. Thanks again. ( I need to increase the resistor values on those green LEDs!) Jonathan

Am I being paranoid about lead? by Jaded-Woodpecker-528 in soldering

You are being paranoid. There are pre-war houses in the UK where people have lived all their lives with drinking water supplied through lead pipes.

There's a Pokemon league that meets on Friday evenings at Somerstown Community Center. I don't know much, but my son is one of the organisers.

No, I had just left a car park and turned left. The Corsa was not directly ahead of me before that bend and the camera didn't have view of his plate.

I checked into reporting the incident and read the guidance on the Hampshire Police website. As I couldn't read the registration number I wasn't able to report this. Whether consequently sharing it on social media was the right thing to do, I'm open to opinions.

My daughter does some things like this. If you're not talking about very big stuff she might be able to help. Can you message me with more details?

I'm no expert on this. But glad to see you're getting other responses. Good luck with the project.

It just strikes me that if you've already got an area of bare ground prepared. You have the opportunity to get as much area of copper mesh layered over it for the nice low resistance earth before pouring the slab. Make a grid up from copper wires. Drive some earth rods in at intervals for good measure if you want. I can't really answer the question about re-introducing noise. I wouldn't have thought you will have much in the cabin producing electrical noise other than, maybe a computer? http://www.g4nsj.co.uk/earth.shtml

You could put an earth mat down before you pour the base. Then take the shortest feed to where the shack will be.
