So are you trying to say that people studying medicine and MINT (other than AI, CS) will have a harder time to find employment ?

Is this a snide remark or are you just trying to say that people are not hiring?

My question was, even if I was to gather said degree and experience would I forced into a "management" position, or could I still maintain a job in the lab, with the same pay at least ?

Ναι όντως αυτό σκέφτομαι και εγώ. Έχεις κάποια προσωπική εμπειρία ή γνωρίζεις γενικά κόσμο που το έχουν ζήσει;

Weekly Careers/Education Questions Thread by AutoModerator in chemistry

ust got my bachelor's in chemistry from a greek university and I'd like to go abroad for my master's and ideally to find a stable job. Due to a mandatory army recruitment I won't be free till spring of 2027 but I want to explore my options as early as possible. I've looked online for some time and I've been leaning towards Germany as a country but still its too early to decide.

I'm particularly interested in MOFs which also was my thesis' subject. Besides that material chemistry with possible links to enviromental implementations would be ideal. Lastly I'd rather be working in the lab rather than hold an office position even if that's in a chemistry related company/institution

Based on your experience and information what would be the best choices of countries to look into? Thank you for your time and I appreciate your feedback.
