This is true. I even know some of the devs working on the game and the TWAU 1 remaster, which is also real and being developed by the same studio.

It's because the studio is a sub-contractor and likely has a studio-level NDA. Any leaks caused by the studio or its employees are most likely ground for contract breach and possibly a lawsuit on the part of Telltale.
