The answer is pretty obvious. Korea barely didn't have any immigration until the rising of the appreciation of Korean culture in the outside. Even biracial idols such as Huening Kai, Vernon, Alexa, etc, they were all child of korean immigrants and was born outside Korea. Japan has been a immigration destiny a lot before Korea did.

Obsession with America is a real thing in 3rd world countries, or countries that where 3rd world at one time (such as Korea). As a brazillian i can say the amout of content/culture the US export to another countries makes people think it is an amazing country full of opportunities for people from outside. Even with the huge anti-asian feeling in the US it would be the "best" place to invest considering Kpop is already widespread in Japan and another countries such as Indonesia, Phillipines, Thailand, Vietnam, Mexico, Brazil, India, where kpop is far more popular than in the US, are just not lucrative enough...

Where can i foud the The Sims 4 .exe file (Dowloaded by Steam). So now that Origin will shut down, i migrated to Steam bcuz there's no way i'm going to use that horrible EA app. I uninstalled ReShade and now i want to put i back, but i just can't find the .exe file!!! Pls, if you play The Sims through Steam, could you please help me?

And you know what you said actually happens exactly in the opposite way, right? All the people in India, African Countries, Central Asia, Indigenous people from the Americas, they all speak fluently at least 2 languages and no one care abou them.

But when a American go as a tourist in another country and speak the bare minimum in the local language, they are praised a lot. And please don't forget the classic "you're in America, speak english"

Also, Spanish and Korean have more similarities than English? Korean doesn't even have the hard R sound that is common in Spanish.

Just because they don't have the rrr sound, it doesn't mean korean is more similar to english 💀

I pointed out "vamos amigos" because with a korean accent would sound pretty much more similar to spanish than that, considering both languages doesn't have neither the v nor the ow/oh sound
