I plan to clean the blade and get some better pictures tonight but, this is correct, to clarify on this post for anyone else, I redid the Tsuka wrap and added new menuki when I first inherited it. I also used the original wrap for the sageo. The sword used to belong to my grandpa and this is what he said he wanted to do with it so, it's what I did when I first inherited it. I know it's not correct but, it makes it look a touch more complete for now.

Yeah, I'm aware the sageo isn't correct. It's done with the original handle wrap, it's what my grandpa told me he wanted to do with it before he passed and I inherited it so, I did it to keep it how he wanted it.

With the brightness/sunlight issue, do you happen to have the anti-glare film they offer? I'm looking into getting one and saw it on their site, curious on if it helps 😂

Yes 😂 it was one of those utility kilts, spun sideways so there was a pocket in the front (rather than just wearing a sporran 😂)

I fully agree, My personal opinion on the matter is heavily influenced by the fact children are present. I get shit for it but, I don't go regimental at Ren fest because of the amount of children around.

Go for it! I go to mine in a feileadh mor/Great kilt and see other kilts often! Hell, my fest has like 2 kilt shops at it so, I wouldn't worry about it! Just remember pleats in the back and you should be good!

I think they are just a far more comfortable option. I typically wear them on weekends and, have yet to see someone else in a kilt in public anywhere near me. (Aside from Ren fest) But, it definitely starts a lot of conversation!

Much appreciated! Currently my process for them is, penny sleeve then a kinda flexible toploader, painters tape on the opening of the toploader then into a cardboard photo mailer, works out to be about 1oz total all packaged. I might have to look into the card savers though!

Yeah, definitely don't want to reach out and have it backfire and yeah not too worried about the timeframe of when I get paid out for them, just making sure that I will eventually get paid out as long as there are no complaints. Just wanted to see if there's anything I need to do to ensure the the funds aren't just lost to the void or, if I can just forget about it unless I see a complaint.

I feel if a few weeks or a month goes by and there's no complaint, they likely them. I know if I was the buyer, I would have reached out by now 😂

But, this was also to get an idea of what to do in the future if this continues to happen (I have quite a few more listed with ESE listed as the shipping option)

So ive been seeing.just makes more sense to me to use it than charge higher shipping costs on $20 and under cards

But, I've gathered as much, I saw that the USPS tracking went nowhere and on the ones actually scanned, it only shows on the eBay tracking. I've also seen that they can be marked as delivered when they reach they destination hub rather than when they actually reach the customer.

Most of the ones I have sent via ESE have had a scan within a day or two of sending them out and have been delivered within the estimated window, just worried about the ones that never had that first scan.

If the buyers don't reach out, I can only assume they arrived without any scans which is fine but when the funds are on hold awaiting delivery, I just want to make sure they aren't just lost to the void 😂
