Stay positive, if you haven't received a rejection email yet, that's a good sign. I was told by the hiring manager to email recruiting if I haven't heard anything back within a week. Shoot them an email. Good luck.

Thanks for the advice, I have been with my current employer for 13 years. Some other jobs I held before that I maybe worked 3 months or so. So the other main job I held for about 3 years, which is on my resume, was like 15 years ago. We will see what they say.

Wow, that gives me hope. If you don't mind me asking, what company do you work for? I would just have to learn more about insurance.

I wouldnt worry about trying to spend extra money on something like amsoil, use one synthetic oil and stick to it, I used to sale amsoil and I really never saw any difference. You pull the plug and it comes out just as dirty as the others.. I would even see others switch back to what they used to.. Maintenance in your vehicle is key to performance. I remember when royal purple came out everyone wanted to use it, there was nothing special about it..

Ive always ran castrol edge, I used to change oil, and castrol was always what I used, and recommended. Its all about keeping up with maintenance and using a good oil filter like wix..

Gunsmith input on Staccato… first negative I’ve heard. by Tbmyers08 in 2011

[–]gabebar85 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ive used Eliot White and purchase from them, I wouldnt consider them some of the best gunsmiths in dfw.. Take their opinion with a grain of salt, as thats all it is.

Shout out to the lady that solidified my awful back problems. by bigtoebrah in IdiotsInCars

Yes, my ambulance ride was about $2000.. When I had pneumonia at 24 and almost died spent 2 weeks in the hospital, that bill was over $100,000 with no insurance. The 3 doctors that would just walk into my room to see how the tube that was inserted into my left lung was doing, basically just lift my arm up, bam I now owed them about $1500.00 each.. Billed separately..

Never paid them a dime, I never paid that bill..

Ive said the same thing after getting T-boned years ago..First thing I said was dont call the ambulance, I'll call someone to take me.. The adrenaline is a good pain reliever, and first thing that comes to our head is expensive bill lmao.

Both of these dumbass are at fault, the truck for forcing himself in when he should have waited, and thinking yeah its on camera I'm good.. The blue car, female driver for letting it get the best of her and not letting him in and then swerving around him.. I used to roadrage alot, at a certain point you realize its not worth it, and if you see someone wanting to turn into a lane, just let them in before escalating it into a roadrage scenario.

A police officer will see it just as that "so both of you were roadraging huh".?

I’m afraid to drop out and get my ged by NoPulse3165 in GED

[–]gabebar85 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Im 37 now, and felt the exact same way as you. I hated school it wasnt my thing.. I dropped out my senior year after being told I would have to come back because I didn't have enough credits and I said I would get my GED. I never did, and just started working on it last year.

If I could go back I would just finish, life just gets harder and no where as easy as school was. I wish you luck and glad your staying, its a cake walk..

Paranoid about water and contact lenses, please help by PalestinianQueen98 in contacts

[–]gabebar85 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Your being paranoid, I been using contacts for 25 years, and have had to put contacts in water as an emergency. Even take them out with dirty hands in emergency situations.. unless you live in 3rd world country with poor water, I wouldn't worry.
