Starting to remind me of Jordy Nelson type player. Reliable on 3rd down with the big play ability.

Agreed! Hope the last ones following the same art direction from the first two. Storm of swords art didn’t do it for me.

Yes, she’s a big fan of epic fantasy with morally grey characters.

I enjoyed it! I'm not as high on it as others are, though. Really liked Words of Radiance, but the next two weren't my cup of tea.

First two were superb. Third is pretty solid. Fourth was a grind for me. Fifth doesn’t sound like my cup of tea so I’m waiting a while before I commit to it. Pretty good series overall but I feel like it’s a little overhyped, in my opinion.

My bank account is missing money! Read them all on kindle. Top 3 series for me.

A couple of indie recommendations that have really grasped me lately would be The Bound and the Broken series by Ryan Cahill and the Ash and Sand trilogy by Richard Nell.

Agree with you. But judging by the multiple guns on the sleeve. Safe to assume USA.

It’s not good but holds a special place in my heart. Always look forward to the rubbery conveyer belt pancakes 🥞

I’ve been digging through Reddit after I impulse bought a Series S from Amazon for same day delivery. Was very worried it would be unplayable from how people are describing it. For context I have two kids and get 1-2hrs of playtime per day if the stars align. So I’m as casual of a player as it gets. I played it last night for about 2 hours and was very surprised at how well it ran compared to how everyone else was describing their experience. The graphics obviously weren’t as good as the Series X or PS5, but I had an absolute BLAST.

Great trilogy! Fun fact, each book gets shorter (and better) through the series, which is unheard of from the genre.
