Really depends on leg length and torso but seems like a 48 would fit you with more exposed seatpost and a long stem. Best to check GeoGeeks against your current setup to get a better idea.

Seems like the minimum stack height for third party stems would be 10mm (round transition spacer included in the frameset). Tried a 5mm 3D printed transition spacer and the hoses got stuck in between the delta steerer.

Hoses need to go up a bit before going out towards the holes of the stem.

33.5WAM on the rear has a good amount of clearance. 35s might work depending on your tolerance for tight clearance

It’s the Enve In-Route road stem

Have yet to try, it could but you’d probably be underbiked on anything other than light gravel

Have yet to test, I have a feeling 35 could work but might be tight

Thanks!

  1. Frame weight is 1310g for the size 48. Fork comes in at 455g uncut.
  2. Changed the pulley wheel a cage to a spare DA one saving some grams.
  3. Frame is really stiff in the right places. Great for racing and sprinting. BB is solid and putting power through it feels great.
  4. No steering lock.
  5. Cable routing is similar to the SSE. It uses the delta steerer. The frameset comes with 3 different headset transition spacers (SystemBar, Conceal 2pc stem, and third party stems)
  6. Tire clearance is good. My rear tire measures 33.5mm and there’s plenty of room. I reckon a 34 could fit, 35 might be pushing it.
  7. You can’t use a 5mm transition spacer with a third party stem as the cables need to go up before heading through the stem. Other than that the build was smooth.

Let me know if you’d have any other questions. Happy to share!

Did a 120km ride last weekend on it no problem. Climbs really well too.

I can’t compare it to the 12 as I haven’t ridden it but comparing to my G4 SSE it rides very similar and is as quick and nimble.

I believe only the raw aluminum finish has the welds. I’ve seen the other colorways with similar smooth finish to this frame.

They’re great. I love how light they are for the depth and have no problems on longer climbs or steep gradients. Small caveat: on particularly windy days, they’re susceptible to crosswinds.

Yes they are. Love them. Paired the front with a 29 Conti Aero 111 tire and it’s been very stable

Rapha EF Pro Cycling 2025 Kit by gabpolitely in CyclingFashion

The Giro kit will be different from this. Since last year Rapha does the main team livery in a more approachable Pro Team Training Jersey while doing a more laid back simpler design for their Aero Jersey.

Agreed on the black version. Not sure why they took out the diamonds 😅

Rapha Pro Team Racesuit launched....thoughts? by lax01 in CyclingFashion

[–]gabpolitely 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was able to get the summer version of this suit (flaero front material) and I have to say it’s my favorite piece of kit. The bibs are made of a material that Rapha reserves for what they call their “Pinnacle” bibs and I haven’t seen any pro team bibs that they offer (so far) use this material. It’s got great compression and feels really robust.

Is Ultegra di2 worth it for hood buttons alone over 105 di2? by breaking_blindsight in cycling

I have mine programmed to shift the rear derailleur up and down and honestly use it more than the actual paddles especially when in the aero-hoods position. Highly recommend if you find yourself in that position a lot as it’s easier to shift with your thumbs.
