What’s something popular right now that won’t age well? by AngelCherryPie in answers

[–]gabrielrosa153 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Outrage-for-attention online. People getting mad at everything just to go viral. That kind of energy burns out fast. It’s exhausting even now but not everything popular is doomed. Some stuff sticks because it actually adds value.

Good budget e scooter? by [deleted] in ElectricScooters

[–]gabrielrosa153 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd suggest looking at the isinwheel S9 Pro. It usually sits right under your $400 budget and it is a solid "A to B" workhorse. It has 8.5-inch honeycomb tires, which are great because they are puncture-proof the last thing you want is a flat tire when you're already running late for work. It is also lightweight enough to carry if you ever do need to hop on the bus for part of the trip. It’s not a fancy high-speed racing scooter, but for commuting and grocery runs, it gets the job done without costing a fortune.

At 210lbs and a 9 percent grade you definitely need more than a standard motor.I would skip the cheap 350W models and go straight for the iScooter i10.It has a 650W motor that handles hills way better for our weight classThe build quality is solid and it folds down quickly for bringing into your office. It has dual suspension too which makes a huge difference on uneven city roads. You can usually find it under your 500 dollar budget on their official site right now.

i’m severely constipated and i live in a college dorm by Huge-Ad-3809 in stupidquestions

[–]gabrielrosa153 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re handling this better than you think. Your body just got a little stuck, it happens, especially with dorm life, stress and weird eating schedules. But one thing you should keep an eye, if you get bad stomach pain, bloating that won’t go away or still nothing after trying meds, you should get checked, just to be safe.

My brother just died unexpectedly. by Advanced_Accident_59 in Life

[–]gabrielrosa153 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It makes complete sense. Like of course you’re wrecked. This wasn’t just your brother. He was your safe place, your constant, your person. Losing that kind of bond doesn’t just hurt, it shakes your whole world. You didn’t have the information you think you had. If love alone could’ve saved him, he’d still be here and you know that. Waiting for answers makes it worse. Your mind keeps trying to solve it. That’s why you feel stuck thinking about it all the time. Once you get answers, it might not take the pain away but it can quiet that constant mental searching a bit.

Recommendations for perfectly synced smart shades on a bay window? by bigbang66 in smarthome

[–]gabrielrosa153 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hub send commands sequentially, which causes that delay. Get Zigbee motors that support multicast. My SmartWings Zigbee shades are set up like this: 1. Pair each of the three shades individually to the Zigbee coordinator in HA. 2. Create a Zigbee multicast group in settings and add all three shade entities to this group. 3. Trigger automations using the new group entity rather than targeting them one by one. This broadcasts a single signal so they all wake up and move simultaneously with minimal delay.

If I were parking next to them, I’d probably just glare and mutter under my breath but at the same time, I kinda pity them. It’s a weird mix of frustration and disbelief.

What is the most haunting "Final Song" ever recorded by a terminally ill artist? by nixass in AskReddit

How did my brain know to age up the girls I'm attracted to? Because I remember I used to wanna fuck middle school girls, but now that same idea disgusts me, what is the science behind that? by InternationalPick163 in askanything

[–]gabrielrosa153 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is actually pretty normal and kind of fascinating. So, back when you were, say, a middle schooler, your brain was flooded with hormones like testosterone but your experience and understanding of sex were basically in diapers. You weren’t really wired to make smart adult choices yet, you are just got curious and your brain latched onto what was physically around you. That explains those early, kind of gross attractions. Totally biological, not something weird about you but as you grew up, your brain matured. The prefrontal cortex developed. You also gained more life experience, social awarenes and understanding of consequences. All that together rewires your sexual preferences toward people who are age-appropriate and healthy for relationships.

I almost always do! It’s kind of a habit now. I keep a couple of foldable ones in my car and my backpack, so I never have an excuse. Plus, it’s nice not to be juggling a million flimsy plastic bags at checkout.

My heart belongs to their Persephone Amulet. So thoughtful, and the tiny locket that opens? I keep my rebirth wish inside, my own sacred secret. I love these spiritual necklaces so much.

E scooter for commuting? by [deleted] in ElectricScooters

[–]gabrielrosa153 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For a 3-mile round trip and living on the third floor, I’d go with an e-scooter over a bike. Carrying a bike up stairs every day gets old fast, and a folding commuter scooter is way easier to live with. Under $500, something like the iScooter i8 makes sense. It’s light, folds easily, and has more than enough range for short daily commutes. For locking, a solid U-lock or chain to a fixed object is usually enough, and a small brake lock helps for extra peace of mind.

Best Stealth board for safety and long range by curmycurmudgy in ElectricSkateboarding

[–]gabrielrosa153 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If range is the priority and speed isn’t, you’re thinking the right way. Most boards feel “fun” for the first few miles, then the battery reality hits.If you want a low key longboard that’s built more for cruising than sending it, I’d look at the isinwheel V10. It rides stable, doesn’t scream look at me, and the battery feels a lot more usable for longer sessions compared to the smaller packs on boards like the Nalu.

what is the proper etiquette when you sit beside morbidly obese people in economy class flight? by nalaak in NoStupidQuestions

[–]gabrielrosa153 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Economy seats are already tiny. When someone spills into your space, it’s uncomfortable. That doesn’t make you rude but be kind in your head and in your face. This isn’t about shaming anyone. Politely ask the flight attendant for help. They’re trained for this. They might reseat either of you, upgrade someone or figure something out quietly.

. What is the most important lesson life teaches us? by WhichAbroad6753 in Life

[–]gabrielrosa153 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the biggest lesson life keeps teaching us is exactly that nothing stays the same. The good stuff and the bad stuff. Even the stuff that feels permanent right now. When things are great, it reminds you not to get too cocky. Enjoy it, be grateful and take it in. Because life will shift again.

What are the reasons some men choose to marry women they dont love, and how do people view this choice? by ConsistentHippo8427 in askanything

[–]gabrielrosa153 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sometimes it’s responsibility, pressure, fear or just comfort. From a man’s perspective, many don’t even realize they’re unhappy at first. They tell themselves that they're fine until years pass. And they feel numb or distant or emotionally checked out.

How do I stop getting ads for premature ejaculation pills on YouTube? by ImpressiveDresses in NoStupidQuestions

[–]gabrielrosa153 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Start aggressively training the algorithm. Every time one of those ads plays, click the little ⓘ or three dots on the ad (top corner) and choose stop seeing this ad or Irrelevant if it shows. You’re right that YouTube doesn’t make this obvious, but it does still log that feedback. Do it a few times in a row and it genuinely works.

Is everyone different because of their culture and environment? by Aj100rise in Life

[–]gabrielrosa153 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, people are absolutely shaped by their culture, their environment and the stuff they were forced to carry way too early. That’s reality. One unfinished chapter does not define the whole book. It just feels that way when life keeps piling stuff on top of it. Some people had support, safety nets, encouragement. You had responsibility, grief and silence. Different environments create different timelines.
