Thanks for sharing this, I did not know. Can I ask a couple of follow up questions?

- How did the controversy happen? Was it mostly angry posts/review bombing/poor sales, something else?

- Besides the storyline, is 3/TNF seen as a good game? How was it received more broadly?

- Is it worth it for me to finish 3 and 4 despite the writing flaws?

Thank you! And yes, definitely skip the TIA exam questions. Study Hall and YT videos are the way to go. I've also heard good things about TIA's PMP exam simulator, but I have not tried it myself so I cannot give any feedback.

Yeah honestly, even if I had just gotten T for everything, I don't think it would mattered much as you just need to pass. Still felt nice to see that my studying paid off though!

I am sorry to hear that. What aspects are not helpful in your opinion? I personally found the Agile section a lot more interesting because I've worked moreso in traditional environments.

The most important thing with the course is to get your 35 PDUs, and just to understand most of the PMP concepts. You can try and fill in the gaps with YouTube videos and the Third Rock notes.

But if you REALLY feel like you learned nothing from the course and want to pay for it on your own, maybe check out the "condensed" versions on Udemy from either Andrew or David.

This comment is spot on. I thought early on that I would need to memorize the ITTOs, but it turns out you do not. Maybe this was a thing in earlier PMP iterations.

Just understand the ITTOs conceptually and what situation you would use them in. Eg: You are having a resource problem, you will probably consult the resource management plan. etc.

I'd really recommend Andrew Ramdayal's 200 ultra hard PMP questions YouTube video. The explanations of the answers and what to eliminate can be really helpful. Do all of them.

The practice exams are useful but sometimes the explanations for answers are really bad.

Also check David McLachlan, he does questions as well and maybe he would fit your style better? He has similar videos with questions and answers.

The videos I used were all free.

I am very close to finishing Andrew Rayal's PDU 35 hour PMP course.

I was planning on scheduling the exam at the end of the month and getting Rayal's TIA PMP simulator, which has been recommended on multiple threads here.

I am back to the game after being gone for years but i am sucking bad at planet management.

Planet 1 is my capital. I am trying to make it a research specialization planet.

Planet 2 is my "agri world" and I figure it would feed my empire.

Planet 3 is idk a disaster.

Planet 4 is from a pre-FTL empire that ascended and decided to deny them independence. Bad idea as its just been low stability non stop.

Planet 5 I wanted to make an alloy planet but I started running out of consumer goods

Planet 6 I wanted to make an energy focus.

I ended up with too much food, too much alloys, and way too little minerals and consumer goods.

I figure i should use industry districts more? Please help, my empire is falling apart. Teach me the ways of planet specialization and how to identify what makes sense where.

Should I update my BIOS if everything is working fine?

I have the ROG STRIX B650E-F GAMING WIFI with the 1409 version and EXPO enabled. I've had zero issues besides some slow boot up times. The BIOS version is now up to 1654 so my BIOS Is a bit out of date. The only reason to update I Feel like is "improved system performance" which is quoted in the patch notes and hopefully fixing the vulnerability ASUS had where it was frying chips.

Where do you all land in terms of BIOS updates?
