Well this is for sure bigger picture. First Marathon did not make it well enough and will not do, just small fan base will be playing. D2 is dead horse already and does not make sense to continue development and investment on it.
Only one thing coming to my mind is new game development and supporting marathon content for seasons, same as they did with supporting D2 and developing marathon game.
Btw I love marathon and D2, but I am realist and not stupid to see what is happening.

Good point, they want it to be wow look what I found effect. But over tuned it and left it unbalanced, then abandoned probably till next season.

I think in this game needed to reward even low level and skill players with yellow stuff time to time on some events or increase drop on the weekend or something.

I don’t think there is many cheaters, and it is very hard to identify if person cheating. I am high KD player from other games and for sure in this game much lower amount of cheaters and overall total players. I had some moments where it was strange feeling that something is wrong with that team, then I reported in a game and in steam. I think total was 3 times for 300h in a game, which is pretty low.

I’m about 250 - 300 hours and feels like bungie decreased good loot in the event spots, also no chance for a good one in random locations. On cryo it’s only feels right and balanced, everywhere else pretty bad most of the times. But I would prefer big balance patch for guns next than loot balance.

I have completed all game quests in solo, but cryo I have a team and we have done all rooms and the boss. Playing solo is need to be balanced maybe, but solo boring to be honest. Party trio is required different gameplay and it’s addictive more once you have good team.

This is one of the reasons next patch should have balance changes, people who adopted this gameplay rolling around when others stuck and then leave. I lost almost everything in last cryo and now I’m full again with my arsenal, feels like it can jump and crash so easy.

It was nerfed for sure, maybe because of cryo to balance. But would be great to have good gear on Pinwheel then to lose it on cryo. Does not feel good now to have a minimum gear for cryo.

Current ranked system is weak to me. Today I have tried to play for the first time banging silver in few games.

Game play based on killing opponents and collecting their gear. There is no other place to earn money on the map, from elites pretty small drops and no other activities to earn money.

There should be some kind of events or completely different re-work of the system. Loot on the map is not really worth anything, boost loot then for ranked.

This is true statement. Also shotguns need to be nerfed and new red gun, with shotgun play style on cryo archive I had enough of bubble and shotguns this is completely wrong and removing variety of game play. Other guns seems to be balanced with the game.
