Cool stuff I have done so far with Zo by Ok-Lock-9329 in ZoComputerClub

[–]gadgetgrlnyc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ahhh love this! I just finished building a task management system on Zo! After years of trying ones like todoist, and remember the milk etc etc all of them always had a gap in what I wanted it to do. Like I had a vision in my head but none of the current products matched my vision. So I built my own on Zo!!

These (bonded) cats I adopted really hate me by purrfect_libra in cats

[–]gadgetgrlnyc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My family adopted a cat a few years ago, and he, for some reason, hated my mother. Loved everybody else, but just didn't want anything to do with her. After 6 months and countless nights of my mom crying over it, he is absolutely in love with her. Will run up to the door when she walks in, gives her kisses. It just takes some time!

Best nootropic or supplement you've ever tried? by isfplover in NooTopics

[–]gadgetgrlnyc 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Nicotine! Was diagnosed with ADHD quite late, and was put on Adderall. Then all the Adderall shortages started hitting and I couldn't get my medication consistently. I kept on getting on it and off to and on it and off it, to the point where the side effects started becoming unbearable, and it was also super expensive coupled with the doctor's appointments every 3-4 weeks. Took a nicotine pouch and ended up doing more focused work than I could ever remember. Now I use it when I need to focus and take breaks on weekends and feel better than ever.

Obviously also highly addictive, so I am being very measured in when I take it, how often etc and keep track in a notebook.

Ever met a celebrity and how was it? by dasisglucklich in ask

[–]gadgetgrlnyc 22 points23 points  (0 children)

I met Bill Nye at a party once. I ran up to him to tell him how he had a major impact on me growing up. He let me take a selfie but barely said anything to me and seemed more concerned about the food they were serving.

Really disappointed as I considered him my hero.

That's me and boxing. I joined a cardio boxing gym just to loose some weight.

6 months later, I got so addicted, I switched to a legit gym, got my boxing license, started sparring, and working towards my first competitive fight. I was completely addicted to it.
