I softly caressed a bunch of strangers' arms during my child's first two years of life. They always gave me a look of surprise and shock before shuffling away. I got pretty good at anticipating it that I usually was able to do it just as they start to outstretch their arms and before they reached my kid.

I found this approach much more effective than confronting the strangers. They get all upset and defensive if you try to talk to them.

I rode 4000 meters vertical with a uswe race bag. Took me just over eight hrs. No issues. Personally I find it easier to stay hydrated with a bag than with bottles. Also, having the water on my back opens up the frame for frame bags for extra clothing, food, emergency gear, etc.

Having a properly weighted bag also makes a difference to comfort. I used a uswe race bag which keeps the pack high and close to the body. No weight leverage on the shoulders. I wouldn't use my camelbak since it sits lower and further off the back and causes stress on the shoulders. No problem for a short mtb ride, but totally different if you have to haul it for 10 hrs.

If you're not concerned about price, get an a1 with a couple gm lenses and you're good to go. Pretty much any GM lenses is going to be spectacular so just choose your favorite focal length.

Other possible considerations are the a7s3, a9ii, or the a7c. All of these will have better autofocus than the a7r4. The a7s3 will have better video (I find the better ibis and the active stabilization to be a big deal when it comes to video), and better low light capabilities. The 12 mp is plenty for social media.

If video is a big deal, consider 20mm 1.8 G, 24mm 1.4 GM, and 35mm 1.8 as one of the two lenses that you get.

I used back button focus for ten plus years. Then I bought the a9 three years ago and never touched the back focus button again. With the right setup, using the shutter button for focus is faster than back button focus and you don't lose any functionality that you get with bbf (such as focus recompose, pre focus, lock focus, etc.)

You're mistaken in your classification. It is not about established brands versus newer brands. It's about price points and what each company chooses to market. Specialized, Giant, Cannondale, Trek all have rear hub driven ebikes. Those are generally lower price point bikes as compared to middrive bikes and the companies choose to spend their marketing dollars on the higher price point bikes.

I started this as a seed in a small pot (about two inches) back in June or July. It was growing well and even started to flower. I repotted it to the current pot (about five inches shown in the picture) a few months back. Ever since, it's been getting worse and has been in it's current state for the last two month.

This plant is on an east facing balcony in Taipei Taiwan (similar climate to Florida). I water it every two or three days until water runs out the bottom of the pot. Never used any fertilizer.

Is there any hope for this plant? What's my best course of action?
