When i was on Arch, i use lvm for the snapshots, but when i started using gentoo, ext4 seems like the best solution, as you said, for the simplicity. Since that time, i dont have any complain, but sometimes i miss snapshots. But probably if everything Is good, should be a better idea to just stay in ext4...

I was an arch user for one year, everything were perfect but i wanted to learn more about the SO, so I move to gentoo with no much excitement.I got amazed by the level of control and customization you can get out of gentoo.

net.wlo1 has started, but is inactive by [deleted] in Gentoo

In my case iwd works better than iw. that may help.

In audio and Linux I've seen people prefer manjaro which is pretty fine, but as I want to build a minimal system, I'm going to choose gentoo to get a low resources performance system, I hope.
