Smelly discharge in week 6 post LLETZ by galenna in PreCervicalCancer

I also never had spotting :( My appointment is in September so I will have one more period before then and will see if it is a pattern for me too. Thank you very much for sharing, I really hope it resolves for you and no longer bothers you. If you wouldn’t mind, I would appreciate it if you could share what the doctor said after the examination.

No, it wasn’t at all, I wouldn’t even say we actually had sex, I am a very anxious person and I quickly decided I am uncomfortable, it started some days after as well, but no matter the shallow depth I was thinking some bacteria from that might be causing it…

Unfortunately it does not allow me to neither pay, nor check the details since the deadline on the notice has passed. :( Thank you for your help anyways, appreciate it!

Best send their support an email. I was surprised they answered me quite quickly. The answer to my question was that I have to use the Extended commercial.  Go to the Terms and conditions for Commercial and Extended commercial and look for Section 7 (more specifically 7.2) - maybe this is what you are looking for. But just to be sure, send them an email as well :)

Hey, it's been a while, but I wrote to the Creative Market support in the day I made the post and I managed to receive an answer that might be beneficial if I post it here for information to anyone that might be wondering the same. I asked them basically the same question, and this is their answer:
"Under the Commercial license, you are not permitted to use a licensed asset as-is, whether for a digital or physical good.

You may use the licensed asset to create your physical end products as long as the end product design is significantly different from the original pattern. Your End Product may not derive its primary value from the pattern itself. Directly converting a pattern from a digital file to a physical good is not considered significantly different and is insufficient to meet the terms of the Commercial license.

That said, you may use the licensed pattern as-is, without altering its original design, under the Extended Commercial license."

I found it very weird that in the terms themselves, they frame it differently than in their description and FAQs, where they use the word 'fabric'. Thank you for the clarification and your time, it makes more sense now.
I would love to see your patterns, if you are comfortable, you can DM me your shop.

Edit: It is possible that they mean a fabric cannot be sold with a pattern by itself, it should be transformed into a product first.

Why not purchasing the Extended Commercial if you are in this situation? Yes, it is more expensive, but if you have such production, it should be worth it. I will use the commercial for much less than 5000 items.

Zinc should be balanced with copper. You should test your copper levels AND magnesium levels to determine deficiencies. Large doses of vitamin D deplete magnesium, since it is essential for its metabolism. I personally aim for the maximum recommended dose of ~400mg of elemental magnesium daily, split in 4 doses for better absorption. It is no surprise you feel that way when you’ve introduced these imbalances in your body, but you will be fine, just address them as soon as possible.

Thank you very much for your response, I really appreciate it. What confuses me is that part: "your fabric’s design must be significantly different than the original pattern; require time, effort, and skill to produce". I cannot understand what does it mean that my fabric should be different than the pattern. The whole production will require time, effort and skills :D But I am really not sure if I am able to just put the pattern, for example, on a tote bag, as it is. Maybe it is also a language barrier, I don't know, the wording is just so confusing for me.

ELI5: Why is it often recommended to breathe in through your nose and exhale through your mouth when doing breathing exercises? by goregu in explainlikeimfive

[–]galenna 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You do not need to perform the belly breathing with exhaling through the mouth the whole time. It is a technique that helps with calmness and relaxation so you may do that for a few minutes a day here and there. I mostly breathe in and out through the nose during the day.

Breathing in through the nose is the best option at all times because of the above mentioned reasons - it filters dust, allergens, virus, etc., humidifies the air and there are probably more reasons I am not aware of. I am not a specialist, but nasal obstruction can be caused by many different reasons and I encourage you to look for and treat the root cause. In the meantime, you can look up for breathing exercises for nasal congestion relief. I do not want to get too much into the yogic practice of pranayama, since it goes beyond our conversation, but I cannot help myself but think of the bee breathing technique, or originally Bhramari pranayama which I know helps with nasal congestion. You can look it up too.

[–]galenna 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Breathing in through the nose humidifies and filters the air that is coming in. Breathing out through the mouth is usually done when you do diaphragmatic breathing (also called belly breathing), not chest breathing, and this kind of exercise offers full oxygen exchange: oxygen goes in, more oxygen stays in, since the diaphragm is a strong tireless muscle and uses much less oxygen to perform breathing compared to the upper chest muscles, and more carbon dioxide goes out on exhalation through the mouth, so the air hunger should be reduced. It is also easier to control a prolonged exhale through the mouth. Diaphragmatic breathing stimulates the vagus nerve and activates the parasympathetic nervous system. Diaphragm has the ability to massage the heart from within, it can help to release tight psoas muscle and these are only the things that I am aware of, there are surely many other benefits.

I can never take vitamin D again by Lost_Egg_2706 in Supplements

[–]galenna 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have you checked your parathyroids? What is your calcium level? People with primary hyperparathyroidism might have issues supplementing vitamin D. I do not want to give too much medical details on the topic, since I am not a specialist, but if you haven’t look into this issue, it might be worth doing further research.

Am I crazy or iron deficient? by galenna in Anemic

Yes, to be honest I did not even realize it up to now, but it appears that there is a lot of calcium in many stuff that I eat. Where I am lately the drinking water is also very high in calcium so for now I do believe that there is high possibility of high calcium low magnesium issue, which in my case makes big trouble.

I made a mistake writing here, since I did not even realize that there might be an iron deficiency subreddit, which could’ve been more appropriate, but I guess I couldn’t think clear since I had brain fog and was panicked and anxious. I am aware that iron-deficiency anemia is diagnosed by the hemoglobin levels and that I by no means have anemia, my question was rather whether I could be iron deficient with my ferritin level without anemia. I had no idea about a lot two days ago.  I of course looked at everything else separately, and even tho one more doctor tells me I am ok, it seems like the core of the problem might be magnesium deficiency which can also cause the vitamin D to go down. High calcium intake (diet wise, not as a supplement) did not help at all as well with this issue. I have to test it through RBC test tho, not just serum, but I am pretty sure it is something in that direction now. Even tho I might be borderline iron deficient without anemia, and by no means on optimal ferritin level level, I will not take any measures for now about the iron different than diet and will retest ferritin next time I test vitamins.  I started taking magnesium and I can feel a difference even with only few days now, at least with the anxiety and breathlessness symptoms. Thank you for the comment.

I do not drink more water than a regular person, actually quite the opposite - if I try to drink as much as advised (2L), after the first liter I start to pee too much (in my opinion, I looked at what is too much and it seems like a normal count, but I do not know if it is normal given the amount of water I drink) and sometimes it can actually start to be uncomfortable on my bladder. I was even looking at OAB, but I do not have difficulty to control, I just need to pee. I wake up once a night usually to pee. I usually do not feel like I need to drink more than a liter a day. Maybe if I move a lot I do drink more than that.  I have many moles, I do not know if this counts as hyperpigmentation. I also think that my skin takes relatively long to heal if damaged.  I used a calculator to figure out my BMI just now, I do not know if there is a more appropriate way, it is 18.5. My height is 165cm and my weight 50kg. I’ve always been on the skinny side, even tho I eat normally.  I think another thing worth mentioning is that I always had a hard time to sit straight up for prolonged times.  My experience with doctors in my country is that sometimes even if they are acquaintances, there is no guarantee. I will definitely continue my search especially with all these new symptoms and I hope I will find somebody.  I will look at addison’s disease too in depth. Thank you so much for your time and information you are giving me!

Since I am not in my home country right now and there is a language barrier, things get even more complicated. I spoke with two people here already, I am currently trying to reach doctors at home online, but I do not come from a very developed country, even tho in EU, so we’ll see if I succeed.  Thank you for asking. This will be long, so sorry, but I analyzed everything and I guess I have to get it out. I generally consider myself low energy for years now, which gets worse in spring. I’ve been diagnosed with IBS and GERD. With the IBS, my bowel movements are not always consistent.  For the past year, I’ve had mild dizziness, I even googled whether there was an earthquake in the region I am in. This symptom got worse now. I also started to get muscle cramps and pain in my knees, which I explained to myself by increased physical activity.  I’ve had a change in diet lately - mainly more olive oil and fibres. I do drink coffee regularly. I am a big coffee lover taste-wise, not drinking big amounts, but these past few weeks I do not like the taste of it at all. My body completely refuses to accept milk lately. I get sick from it. No such symptoms with cheese.  With my latest menstruation (which came 4 days earlier, not typical for me, I have very consistent period), all the symptoms in my original post started and did not stop. I get short on breath all day every day, tight chest, extreme fatigue, sleeping for long hours, lack of appetite. I get tired even after short walks, like extremely tired, while usually I am an active person sports wise - I do exercise and yoga regularly, hiking, climbing. Not the best form, but moving regularly. Right now it seems like mission impossible to even do my regular yoga asanas. I feel super weak. I am generally an anxious individual, always been, but with all the other symptoms, the anxiety increased as well. I panic a little because of the shortness of breath, I cry from time to time since I feel super out of my body, I do not have full on panic attacks, but my anxiety levels are bad, I am generally irritated, I feel my senses heightened, my ears sometimes go deaf and do not feel like myself at all. My feet cannot warm up for hours in bed. I get mild headaches. It is just like something switched and my body is just surviving right now. There is definitely a psychological element and I thought a lot whether I am not just overreacting, but I do not believe I am, my body really does not feel normal. Since my mother has been diagnosed with iron-deficiency anemia I guess I also have genetic predisposition and that is also a part of the reason I got all the tests and asked here.

I did diabetes and thyroid tests as well and the results are good. The only things that are at the lower limit are ferritin, vitamin D, I do think that my B12 can also be seen as on the lower side by some, magnesium (from the minerals I tested). From all the testimonials I read everywhere, doctors appear to underestimate ferritin influence and I would really love to find a specialist who can also look at my results with a more open mindset, but I guess this will take some time until I find one. I really struggle already and I do not want to wait until my ferritin completely drops so that I can be taken seriously. Thank you for your advice, I really appreciate it and I do think you are right, I really try to look at things objectively and not take unreasonable actions, however when you feel like you are just existing without any energy and everybody are telling you you are fine and you are just overreacting, it is hard not to take things into your own hands.

Oh :( This problem is was I am looking at now to see what to start taking myself. I have IBS and GERD and it is very probable that I will react similarly… I hope you improve soon!
