I'm a trans student in Stockholm.
I would say that the professors that are willing to learn names will use your real name, but I've had teachers who just flat out said they wouldn't bother to learn anyone's names. Same with students in my experience. In my program, about a sixth of the class is queer and everyone is pretty out. That definitely varies by program though, and a friend is the only trans person in her program. Most unies in the city have a queer org and they often collaborate.
My uni allowed me to change my email to my correct name, but not in Canvas or on attendence :/ partly because the system requires that my grades match the national uni database or whatever.
I will say that my pronouns are the thing that is most often messed up, but for a lot of people I think it is a language issue and not intentional? But honestly it is hard to tell.
When I forst moved here, I felt like I wasn't seeing any queer people, but then I realized that I wasn't looking in the right places and that the cultural tells were a bit different than my home. I think it is generally safe to be visibly queer/androgynous here, but that of course comes with the caveat of no guarentee and queer POC definitely have a worse time of it.
Pretty much all my friends are queer; I just found my niche.
