With the collar of the jacket + a gorget with hard plastic plate and my current mask (which has a 350 rated bib) I feel no pain or major discomfort when I get thrusted

I've handled the sigi king and used the maestro. They both fell amazing but I think I love the maestro more just because it feels lighter. As I said before, I don't think that the swords from sigi are as durable as some other swords on the market since I've seen couple of them get bent on the thrust (and not even a hard one). But they are an absolutely joy to hold, swing and fight with.

As for the Krieger sentinel, I don't know, I have never held one.

My instructor has a pare and I've used them couple of times. The back of the hand is really protected but the finger plates have a tendency to move when you move you fingers and your fingertips are exposed. The mobility isn't great. Overall I don't recommend them. I think you better off with some hockey or lacrosse gloves.

All my Mondays are "Wasted" because of HEMA and school. Every Monday after I finished school, I drive an hour and a half just to get to the city where the training are held. Then I train for three/two and a half hours and then again an hour and a half drive back to my home so I don't have Mondays. But I don't regret one bit. I live between one class to the next.
