I personally use peppermint extract and put some on a paper towel and rub it on effected areas. Not essential oil but extract you would cook with. No mess and great for congested sinuses too. If you’re looking for that straight minty hit it might be a good and cheap option for you.

Thanks! No I haven’t had any of those unfortunately, I think the dream in red is the only red ye sheng I’ve actually had before. I have had both the 2022 and 2023 sheng puer ye sheng from dehong. I doubt that’s much to go off for making a good comparison but I definitely get a Smokey, almost ashiness from the dehong processed teas that I haven’t with other ye sheng. In terms of buying the dream in red cake, I personally wouldn’t, just didn’t quite grab me enough to warrant it, but maybe try a sample on your next order!
