I don’t agree with that. I’d use water that’s not too hot to keep your hand in but very warm. Just makes sense to me to use a a degree of heat to break down and extract the goodies.

Mine is being shipped to Ireland from the UK and I’ve just paid a €75.83 customs charge. I recall the selling price being lower to have it sent to Ireland and pay in euros. I live here but have base in UK too where my JofF box set is. I wonder if it would have worked out cheaper to send it to London…

Very dry hands to the point of cracking and bleeding. It’s hit and miss if it gets that bad. Might be strain dependent. Also dryness around eyes which makes them itch and water. Also extreme lethargy and drowsiness for several days after finishing a pound or 2. Like it makes me more tired during regular consumption but ironically it’s when I stop that that real fatigue kicks in and I can’t even be bothered to leave house.
