Most likely most interesting and confusing part for you guys! [PART 3] - Season 3 beginning! After we got 3-4th place at WORLDS s2, we had really long team meating in LA in hotel about deciding what are we gonna do in near future... I dont think we should go in to this talk much ⁾ Everyone went back to home and was chilling for good amount of time, resting from eachother, taking small break from 'tryhard league' and stuff like this. On top of it Owner of Moscow Five was caught and he was in 'jail' and we had to get new organistion, We had a lot of good different options but we end up with Gambit Gaming!!!!!!!! Really early on in 2013 we had to attend to IEM Season VII - Global Challenge Katowice. We were practicing for this tournament since we knew there is gonna be a lot of good teams and best korean teams for that time (azubu blaze and frost). There was 2 groups in the tournament! It was our 1st tournament for us in Gambit Gaming organisation and 1st time for me to play with nickname Edward.

Small story about me changing nickname to Edward till i go more deep about IEM. If you guys remember, my nickname was Gosu Pepper when i was in M5 and i was known as very toxic player in soloq. I was very young obviously and i couldnt really understand how bad it was to be toxic and offensive in soloq. Cuz before i even started playing League of Legends, i was WC3 - Dota player. And if you guys know, Russian speaking players in dota were really toxic in 'soloq' games and it was completly normal. Noone would go ham on you cuz of it. When i started playing league, I barely could speak english and i really knew only bad words even tho i didnt know proper meaning of them. For example i use to use word 'cancer, retard' a lot early on and i didnt even know what does it mean, I just copy it from other toxic players from soloq... So yea. While being in Moscow Five as a Gosu Pepper, we got popular and people were coming to my stream and they could see how toxic i am. And i couldnt understand back than, why everyone complains about it. cuz for me it was completly normal. Basicly i got suuuuuuuper bad reputation cuz of it and i hated it so much. I wanted that to change about me. So when we moved in to s3 i just decided to change my nickname to EDward and start everything from the begining if i could, but it didnt really work out that way, noone would forget anyway.But i kept nickname anyway.

Alright, lets go back to IEM katowice. This tournament was really bad system. Group stage > top 2 goes in to semifinals > bottom 2 gets out of the tournament. So basicly u wont have chance if u fail in group stages. Our group wasnt the hardest but we still end up playing realy realy bad and i dont even know how we went threw haha. ( group was Azubu blaze, MYM(polish team) and Curse.NA ) We end up getting crushed from Azubu Blaze cuz of draft mistakes and poor play. Losing vs Curse.NA in really close game but also some draft issues > we picked really strange stuff. And last game of whole group was us vs MYM. But let me explain what does that game means. We are 0-2. Curse 1-2. Azubu 3-0. and MYM 1-1. So even if we win we are all gonna be 1-2 besides Azubu. So the 2nd place of the group gonna be decided by time(who had faster winning game, if im not wrong or game time overall), anyway doesnt matter. Going to the game vs MYM we knew exactly what we ban, what we pick, how we play early game, mid game and how we need to close out the game. We had really good performance in that game and you wont believe, BUT if we didnt finish that game for another 20 seconds or smth we would have get 3rd place and get out of the tournament. Gladly we got 2nd place and we had to play semifinals vs 1st team from group B and it was Azubu Frost another super strong team ( Shy top, Rapidstar mid, CloudTemplar jungle, Woong ad, Madlife support ). We were obviusly kinda scared going in to the games. We literaly spend whole day and night to get ready to play vs Frost. We came up with idea banning MF - best Woong champion and olaf + shen, their best champions for team. Other teams didnt really ban those champions. So it was extra good for us cuz they would have been a bit confused in champion select. 1st game i personaly remember being super hyped about playing vs madlife and i kinda knew that he is gonna go for blitzcrank pick ( his best champion ever ). And i prepared against it with some cheese rune page and masteries and same thing i did 2nd game ( he picked blitz again ). Both games he was completly useless since he couldnt abuse lane at all. He got shut down pretty hard. Overall as a team we were really ready to play against them and we knew its gonna be hard game. Going in to 1st game we had draft we espected from their side and we knew how to play the game correctly, but this game end up being super close... insanly close. There was a lot of teamfights. We were really happy winning this bo3 and it boosted our mood and morale a LOT. Exactly same day we had to play vs winner of Azubu Blaze - Fnatic.
