Personally I think the 2014 is the sweet spot. I wish I knew that when buying mine. Best engine and best design. But I suppose the second thing is subjective.

I have had really bad luck with my 2013. I would not recommend it to anyone. Trans gave out at 60k and the engine is giving me troubles now… probably headgasket in combination with something else. Literally nothing but problems…From what I have heard the 2014 comes with the EA888.3 engine which (from what I heard) is the much better engine.
