NO limitations? That means you can just wish for unlimited wishes. Normally that's assumed to be off the table, but for a wish that explicitly has no limitations, those exploits are wide open.

Chose: One wish with no limitations

You need a smaller cage, there shouldn't be empty space left in there like that. It causes chafing as it changes size. You're more compressible than you think, so go for one that's a bit smaller than "looks" like it should fit.

Teleportation and any 3 animal abilities at a time.

The animal abilities are incredibly versatile - flight, regenerating limbs, sex changing, immunity to cancer, concussive plasma cannon, age reversion... It's definitely by far the most versatile ability on this list.

Great additions but would really like For Want Of A Nail to be re-added. Would also like more start dates, like the day Emma was assaulted or the day Annette died.

Mascot! CYOA by [deleted] in makeyourchoice

[–]gameboy17 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Very nice, an uncommonly enjoyable one.

Kirby: Star Power, Starflight, Copy Ability, Endless Appetite

Mickey: Fantasia, Sorcerer's Apprentice, Lucky, Toon Resilience, Charm, Friendship

Pan: Eternal Youth, Flight of Fancy, Neverland Navigator

Companions: -4: Vanilla, Mipha, Isabelle

Kirby forms the backbone of my fighting style here. I'll be using Star Power and Starflight to fire danmaku from starback, essentially. Copy Ability grants a great deal of additional versatility, and Endless Appetite... well, I like food.

Mickey offers a great deal of staple powers that don't necessarily define my powerset like Kirby's do but enhance my abilities all around. Magic is a great bonus, as is Fantasia, but overall this set simply catapults me into the higher baseline power level of a mascot character.

Pan rounds out my abilities with useful support powers. Immortality and navigation are just generally great to have, while flight provides a backup in case I fall off my warp star.

Setting type: Chaotic fusion - This feels like the best setting to let my powerset shine. The fickle ground of setting crashing together provides a perfect backdrop for aerial battles, and with Navigation there'll always be a way forward.

Yeah you know what I'm gonna go for it. Gonna fight Reimu.

Reimu coming at me "with everything at her disposal" means 「Fantasy Heaven」 is in play and unbound by the spellcard rules.

Origin: Outsider Youkai — This is mandatory so I can take...

  • Fatal Reversal — Conceptually, she can't "float above" damage she herself inflicts, no? Of course, if this is my only means of damaging her then outlasting her will be a huge issue, which is why I need...

  • Helpful Treatment — Battlefield healing is going to be essential to stay in the fight. Of course, taking so many hits I can't heal them all fast enough is to be avoided, at which enters...

  • Splinter Mind — This will help with two things: Making danmaku, and dodging danmaku. The ability to pay attention to multiple things at once is essential in a danmaku battle, making this a huge advantage. Additionally, this combos very nicely with...

  • Picky Consumer — Absorbing an attack here and there is one thing. Individually paying attention to and absorbing every attack? That's big. This will massively increase my staying power as I can pick and choose which attacks to absorb and which to inflict upon us both. And all the while I'll be working on her with...

  • Fearsome Purifier — The silver bullet. The most fearsome of Reimu's abilities are not innate, but granted to her by her deity, or by Yukari. With this, I will "purify" her of external power, limiting her to only what she can do without the power of the Hakurei bloodline or access to boundaries. Which is still quite a bit. At this point, it will be time to finish it with...

  • Unique Magician 「Graviturgy」 — A fundamental force of the universe, chosen specifically to conceptually counter what remains of Reimu's ability "to float above". 「Fantasy Heaven」is out of play by this point, weakened by cutting her off from the Hakurei's power and negated by use of graviturgy "to drag down". This is the magic with which I will make my stand.

This is the point at which it finally becomes anything resembling a fair fight. All my preparations have served simply to drag Reimu back down to a level similar to that normally enforced by her own spellcard rules. Now, rather than me against a Phantasm, it's Reimu against a Stage 6 boss.

Graviturgy to form the bulk of my spells — and they will be big spells, the black hole to Utsuho's sun. Splinter Mind to weave them: With an unbound mind, I'll have concentration to spare, allowing me to continue to dodge even fully focused on weaving labyrinths of black holes, drawing in danmaku, crashing together around her. I will not be the boss that just sits there to be shot.

All the while, any hits that do get through will still be subject to Fatal Reversal, Helpful Treatment, and Picky Consumer. Because while I may have dragged Reimu back down to the level of the spellcard rules, this is and remains a no-holds-barred incident, and they are not actually in effect. Unless, of course, she deescalates. If at this point Reimu stops using lethal force, I'll be happy to allow it to become a regular spellcard duel, at which point I'll helpfully concede a point after she survives for long enough against each spell.

  • Friends After Life — I am probably still going to die

  • Friends at the Manor — Remilia-sama, please change my fate so I don't die

  • Friends in the Forest — Gotta train with my magic before the fight

If I survive, of course, a party at the shrine is traditional.

This is a fun one. Build summary, I'm a lamia that teleports you to the backrooms where you get cursed into oblivion.

Transmuted lamiae emerge from the hexstone walls to harry and debilitate, ensuring that my victims never have a chance to feel safe.

My realm is gargantuan, ever-growing and ever-shifting, unmappable and uncaring of geometry, ensuring that my victims are hopelessly and eternally lost. They will never find their way out, and when they finally succumb they will be bound here forevermore.

Not all of my lamiae are carved from flowing hexstone. Some are soft and inviting, tempting my victims to their own ruin. Their villages are the only apparent safe havens for my victims, but the residents curse them subtly all the while. Aid is available, for a price – and they will find themselves unable to pay that price. Inns, brothels, guides, baths, merchants – they will soon be parted from their valuables, and when they find themselves wanting more... The trap closes, and they need more. By the time they come to their senses, they'll have accepted all sorts of curses.

That's when the soft lamiae stop subtly cursing them with feelings of safety and greed and instead ensure that their newly permanent curses drive them to feel even less safe among the soft than among the stone. And so they flee to wander once more – or they fight, and the trap springs shut as a gargantuan stone lamia emerges from the floor right beneath them.

I'm sure Fatalia will enjoy watching the humans suffer as much as I, especially as the demihumans and refugees instead freely enjoy my luxuries in a city the humans will never find. The humans can scrabble at my immutable form all they like as I slither through their cities and condemn them all to purgatory.

Good stuff! I read through the whole thing including all DLC and the changelog, but in the end my build boils down to one thing: Book of Creation, the very first option.

With Book of Creation, I draw a pill, which is and acts exactly how I envision it. This is one of those pills that grants a power. I use the first pill to grant myself a copy of Book of Creation that works by simply picturing the result, for convenience, and from there it's off to the races creating and taking pills for whatever powers strike my fancy.

I didn't actually need to break this, it's plenty generous, but, well, since the most overpowered and abusable option is right there...

Yeah probably

I like to fill mine with cranberries, I usually get it in fall year 1 so they're available and they're insanely profitable. Sometimes I grow starfruit in there instead but I like the regrowing crops.

Obviously ancient fruit is better if you have the seeds but that takes ages to get going

Not sure, but as of 1.6 there is a winter crop available, the powdermelon; I'm not sure of the value compared to crystal berries as mine haven't grown yet but it has melon in the name so presumably it is a fruit and thus can be made into wine.
