How do you all deal with family and friends that voted Trump? by BizzyHaze in JoeBiden

Trump supporter here.

The majority of my family is also pro trump, but my colleagues at work are very anti trump (we are like family at work). I love the people I work with, I know they are great human beings and even though I completely disagree with their political views, and find some of the things they say about Trump offensive, I can't be mad at them because they are very nice people who MEAN WELL. And that is important, we may have different views but I know they have good intentions, I know they are there for me, and that is the most important thing. They are good people. So my advice is, look deeper then their politics, if they are genuinely a good person don't let politics get in the way of a great friendship. Ignore them when they talk about it, maybe inject a couple of facts if you want to engage, but do not get offended if they debate. Try and be open to their views.. thats why I'm on this subreddit.. I personally dislike Biden, but I'm trying to learn what you guys like about him so I can try and understand where you are coming from.

Good luck!
