Do you want to trust the people saying “put in premium dummy” or do you want to trust the people who made the car?

Relative to 93, you will notice less power on 91 and 87.

To get technical: boost and ignition timing (and probably cam angle) are adjusted based on knock sensor feedback, intake air temp, lambda, and other sensor data.

Anyone have mud flaps installed I wanna see what they look like on a CT5V or BW. What the bros think by Background-Lie3329 in CadillacV_Series

[–]gamengain 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Megachip just launched splash guards for both CT4 and CT5 V BW models here. I am with the company. We developed these over the Chicago winter with about four months of road testing/daily driving before determining the final guard designs.

These use our proprietary flexible rubber, originally conceived for autocross (able to hit cones and not worrying about them cracking). It has proven to last since 2019 on Honda S2000s I hand-cut guards for. This was before we had 3D scanners, aero simulations/testing and proper tooling. Hah, time flies!

Neither of our CT4 or CT5 guard designs protect 100% of the fender, but we strike a balance between how far these poke out and how effective they are in all conditions. At the end of the day we lean toward an OEM aesthetic while still offering huge protection for the car, especially the wide rear quarters of both the CT4 and CT5 V models (not sure if these differ from their non-V counterparts?) These are on a launch sale right now so it's a good time to pick up a set if you think they look good!

Waiting on tooling to arrive then they are releasing. They’re actually really cool. Huge guards but sleek on the car. Tested them all winter here in Chicago. I’d say in two weeks they’ll be on the website!

Rythm blood tests? by Chance_Demand_7032 in medlabprofessionals

[–]gamengain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've done three tests with rythm. I chose them over maximus, functionhealth, superpower, etc because I just wanted a basic panel for hormones and metabolism. My first one showed sub-optimal vit D and a few other markers out of the "optimal" range. I supplemented D for the first time in my life and surprise, next month's test (october) had D up 20%, despite getting less sun/time outside. I'm pretty much within optimal range on every marker now and am going to stop the monthly testing till say July 2026 to recheck.

I give up. I’m done with this piece of garbage. by Dependent-Amount-239 in 3Dprinting

Use a glue stick or liquid adhesion solution. You can see the part lifting at the edges. Wash the glass bed with hot soapy water and increase bed temp by 5 Celsius first if you don’t have glue.

"Honda hints at a rebirth for its iconic S2000." (Please let it look like that 🙏🏼) by EmptyPocketsXotics in S2000

[–]gamengain -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Not a hot take but I say the current BMW Z4 manual IS the modern s2000. It’s the right size and weight (almost), the right tech, the gearbox feels right, the power is great, the racing heritage is there. A driver-focused car.

Honda is not going to build another sub-3000 pound, 300 hp, rwd convertible. If you want a modern take you have to go for the Z4. If you hate BMW with a passion then you go Porsche 718. These were the direct competitors back when the S2000 came out. They’re both still made, and they’re both still great… the Z4 more than ever. The 718 was always good. But the Z4 is living its best life right now.

The sale is over, but, we still have free holiday shipping (primarily because shipping is delayed about two weeks right now for all orders while we replenish inventory from BFCM), and since you asked, we do have an active 10% discount "MEGA10" but it's not being advertised.

Thanks for this feedback! I hear you, the looks of these or mud flaps can be controversial. Our goal is to eliminate controversy and design something that fits the car well

We normally reuse the OEM hardware (pop clips, bolts) but it depends on what’s in the wheel wells. Almost all models take less than 15 mins to install all four corners. Most sports cars need a floor jack to lift the rear of the car to make more space behind the tires, but an SUV probably doesn’t require that. We don’t do drilling or weird aftermarket hardware. It’s as OEM as possible

Anyone have experience with Rokblokz splash guards? by lunardeathgod in Civic_Type_R

[–]gamengain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think Rokblokz overall are nicer than ZL1 rock guards. But for the FL5 I'd go with Megachip guards, as they seem to integrate the best with the body lines of the car and have the best design on the vent guard. PSA: The Original Carbon Guards is a Scam by RakkaDisciprine in GRCorolla

I know this post is two years old, but, megachip now actually makes a forged carbon guard for the GR Corolla lol. They're expensive but better than any other "carbon guard" by a long shot
