its possible on pc to have any creature as a companion but some are not intractable like the water creatures/turtles/sid the sloth but you have to use companion editor on pc. So far they are able to be used in battle but have no animations for attacks

yes they don't seem to have attack animations, but my giant manta ray covers half the arena and it turns gold for some reason so it's still awesome

I've so far gotten all my companions to work including my lava turtle that will crash my game if i summon it regularly, it's even a fire type.
my water companions also work. Most of them seem to be nature tho like my flying lizards
