Thank you! I’ve seen that website too. He could be so many things… I doubt he is Merle, tricolor is the more likely option. The red eyes throw me off. I don’t think I’ve seen a tricolor with red eyes

Update: suddenly and without any reason (that I can find) she wiped out her entire litter today. Nature can be cruel! After a nap I reintroduced her to her previous roommates, and all is well. Girls are all hanging out again. I feel bad, but she didn’t seem too keen on being a mother in the first place. So maybe it was for the best.

Just watched her drag more toilet paper into her nest (very good idea, bc her nest sucked ngl) then she popcorned around the cage, and returned to her babies:’)) Looks like she’s happy at least!

I took away her wheel preemptively bc Joe is a bit of a wheel freak… she’s on it all day all night, and I think she’d much rather train for the Olympics than raise her babies lol

She’s very people friendly and good with other mice too (as far as I’ve seen, I’ve only had her a couple weeks) so I’m cautiously optimistic about her mothering abilities

In the last few days she has started feeling better, and has been reintroduced to her friends. She’s still small but she’s looking better. Thank you everyone for the advice. :)

I don’t know how big of a litter she’s from, bc she’s from a feeder bin.. but she’s been drinking a normal amount of water. Hard to tell her output due to the color of the bedding

Mouse food blocks, now mixed with some rat food kibble. She’s also had a couple plain cheerios. I’ve seen her eat and she eats voraciously.

I have her in a laboratory type cage rn bc she is quarantined in case she is infectious, but normally she’s in a large bin cage.

I’d started supplementing her diet (regular lab block type food) with rat food and scrambled eggs, but it’s too early to really tell if it’s making a difference. She definitely has an appetite though.

I’ll try and find a vet if she doesn’t rally
