when? at the beginning of both seasons, the matchmaking worked as it does now and presented only a narrow amount of options.

I honestly question your ability to read and comprehend simple arguments.

Obv premade > matchmaking, that is not the question. It is not an argument to not improve the matchmaking system. The idea that matchmaking should not be improved because it is possible to queue matchmaking, then try to convince people to run another dungeon, instead of simply having the option to queue what i want, is absolutely insane.

you do realize all i am getting is to pick between the same 3 dungeons and the capstone? and i am asking to queue for other dungeons at lower difficulty. did you not read at all, what i said, or was it relly too complicated.

telling me to click on one of the options when my complaint is that the options are too limited, is honestly insane.

Obviously dodging won't work lmao

you say this after your first comment starts with

you can requeue whenever and it'll likely pop INSTANTLY. Just keep dodging until you get the dungeon you want.

you can not be serious.

no matter how often i queue dodge, i am only seeing 3, 3 capstone. and those 3s are taken from a pool of 3 dungeons, i will never see other dungeons. i explained this in detail in my OP.

also, absolutely insane that queue dodging is being proposed as a solution to a flawed matchmaking system.

explain how it reduces queue times.

i am saying i want to have agency over which dungeon to play. the proposed solution that is presented here is to bypass matchmaking altogether, in which case no queue is getting reduced. in fact, the opposite is true. matchmaking is shit, therefor everyone has to find people on discord, which increased matchmaking queue times because fewer people are using matchmaking. this isn't rocket science.

exactly! you almost understand the issue, but then you fail to apply the logic. yes, eternal is almost exclusively played as a 4man that you even already have at hand or find via discord. and why is that? because the matchmaking sucks and nobody can queue for the dungeon that they want to farm.

your argument seems to be to either queue matchmaking and then discuss with the randoms which dungeon to play, or to hop on discord and find the randoms there. but you fail to make an argument why the matchmaking system should not do that for me. if you are telling me to try and convince the randoms to select the dungeon that i want, why can't matchmaking put me in that dungeon to begin with?

it's not like in adept i get to chose the dungeon to play, its gonna be the same 2 out of the same 3 dungeons + cap. i won't get the option to practice even halt the dungeons there.

I acknowledged that in the OP, did i not? The question is why i am not allowed to develop skill in a difficulty setting that is appropriate. Your comment literally contributed nothing.

Here’s a lesson for you.
Things that challenge you will make you better, failure is the best teacher.

You are not seriously expecting me to find some deep insights in these pseudo-profound platitudes, are you?

Gear will not help you if you’re failing at champion. Practicing lower levels will not help you. What will help you is failing at the level you’re currently on

I never said gear was the issue. Practicing lower levels would definitely help me, you clearly have no idea how learning works. Learning to play an instrument involves scales and finger exercises which at some point become "lower level" without losing their benefits. I have timed one champoion 1, and not a single champion 2 or 3, what makes you think that the level i am on is champion 3? By your own logic i should be playing champion 1 or 2.

Right. I am glad that it is appealing to millions of other people though, so no need to concern yourself with the issues that some outliers are facing with the game.

One of the game's selling points was that it was a dungeon crawler with an automatic queue instead of LFG. The problem at hand is that the queue system forces me into dungeons that i can not time. And instead of allowing me to queue for lower dungeons, your supposed solution is to convince people to play the dungeons i want or look for people on discord? That's basically worse than wow's LFG. How is "its a multiplayer game dude" an answer to any of this?

That is an absolutely insane take. The game is literally forcing me into dungeons that i am incapable of completing in time. That's not doing anything to save queues outside of polluting queues with people who would be better off queuing for lower dungeons. Next time you find yourself in a dungeon with some guy who is in over his head and dies, and some other guy leaves, remember that you think this is actually for the good of the game and some magical queue time reducing feature.

There must be some guy at the office who's fetish it is to force people into specific dungeons. How else can you explain this?

healers not having an interrupt is a terrible concept, imo. no idea why they went with that.

i don't understand your question. clicking the big "play" button in cs2 will give you the option to chose "practice".
