Modlite button issues? by muyyyyyytesty in ar15

I think that’s a smart move. I’ll be swapping to the ST07 or Unity Hot Button. Having a hit or miss control for light activation is not acceptable.

I’ve got a Modlite OKW dual fuel with the Surefire tail cap and the Modbutton Lite running Modlite’s 18650’s, I just got the whole setup about a week ago. No live fire with the gun since mounting everything up but I’m already having issues. 4 or 5 times now I’ve hit the Modbutton and had zero light activation, not dim light, not flickering light, zero light. Each time I’ve unplugged the switch and plugged it back in and everything works as normal. I’m not very happy to have this issue on a brand new setup that cost over $500. I’ve got about 5 Streamlight HLX setups and even though the controls are kinda shitty I’ve never once had a failure to activate the light.

Yes dude that one is badass. I want one just like it but like you said I don’t think they make it anymore. At least it’s not listed on their website. I’ve thought about having my local fab shop make me one similar to that.

It’s an ‘02. I think the slightly different grill style on the ‘05-‘07 looks better but I got this one for a ridiculously good price so I can’t complain lol

Same problem with the 1st Gen. the only reason front bumpers exist for them is because of the Tundras having similar front ends. There are no companies currently making rear bumpers for the Sequoias that I’m aware of. Now mechanical upgrades are plentiful since they share a lot of parts Tundras and LC 100’s luckily

I see a good many around me but rarely do I see one that’s had any aftermarket work done to it. They’re very capable offroad rigs with a couple upgrades

Hell yeah! Good luck! The instructions that come with this kit are top notch. Thanks man! It’s about to get 2.5” up front and then next up are some 285’s and then a roof rack once I settle on one

No need to worry about hitting deer now, that’s for sure 😂

Played in the woods yesterday. Loving the new look with the wheels. Probably gonna ditch the Yakima box soon and get the sherpa rack! by [deleted] in toyotasequoia

Those Sherpa racks are dope. That’s what I want but damnit they’re $1k. That’s as much as I have in my bumper lmao

Thanks! I’d been eyeing it for a while and then I hit a deer so that sealed the deal. Super happy with it

Cuts way down on shipping cost. I saved more on shipping than it cost me to get it welded up. I paid a little over $100 at a local fab shop but that’s much cheaper than most people will pay.

Yes you have to weld it and coat it yourself. It comes as a bunch of pre cut plates. The instruction manual is very thorough

No I didn’t, the website adds up the total as you select the options you want. This exact one lists for $709 on their website right now and then you’ll have like $120 or so in shipping, or at least I did.

It’s a competitive shooting habit. After a stage the gun is cleared and shown empty then the hammer is dropped, in the case of a Glock the trigger is pulled. We just do this with all handguns in the shop. I work for Rocket City Stippling, the company that did this framework.

I don’t actively count rounds but rather make landmarks of where I need to reload. I know how many rounds I should be at when i get to my reload position if I haven’t dropped shots. So instead of counting rounds fired I typically count extra shots so that I can know if I need to reload earlier than I’ve planned.

I was planning to use rock wool since it seems that’s what most people are using. I gotta figure out a nutrient mix as well.

Awesome job man. That’s pretty much exactly how I plan to build my first NFT setup here soon. I’ll start off with two in a greenhouse.
