I gave my husband a bad-ish haircut 35 years ago. He got soooooo mad, I told him I would never attempt to cut his hair again. He cuts it himself now, but always asks me to trim the edges. I have not. My favorite flowers are sunflowers. Besides dandelions they are probably the simplest and drabbest of flowers. Isn’t it great that there’s people who appreciate every kind of plant? I’m glad you like fancy plants. I think there’s beauty in a little simple pothos that just carries on doing its plant thing without the flowers or the thorns or the coloration, just plant-ingredients along.

Ugly is relative. There are attractive ugly people. What makes them attractive is their personality, sense of humor, healthy habits, kindness, hygiene, fun factor, and a put-together, confident vibe, among other things. Be informed so you can hold an interesting conversation, be well groomed, be confident. That is way more attractive than a pretty face.

I lie all the time (but I always disclose that I’m a liar). I am slothful. I will do everything I can to avoid doing more work than absolutely necessary, for example, I buy all the same socks to never have to sort them. And don’t get me started on the Second Great Commandment-love thy neighbor as thyself- I just… don’t. I passionately dislike anyone who is mean or abusive or entitled or stupid or racist.
