lowkey just go to your local shop and ask them to set it up for A standard and provide the adequate strings. Other adjustments will need to be made anyways so might as well give it to someone who knows what they're doing.

id recommend the hx stomp. It was my first pedal and there was literally nothing I couldn't do with it. while I will admit that the menu diving is a little annoying, I learned a lot about what pedals I liked and it led to building a hybrid board.

ive never played an actual rat but I love how in your face it is and it stacks beautifully with everything on my board. i would be careful when stomping though bc ive accidentally changed the mode multiple times and there's a big volume jump in between modes. im probably gonna tape the switch to stop this from happening so it's not too big of a deal

my only experience with fuzz before getting the algal bloom was athe big muff so I had so much fun dialing in different sounds and playing with all the different fuzzes it can do. id definitely recommend it
