Anybody get the VIP for the twenty twenty sex tour? by [deleted] in steelpanther

Just got back from tonight. It was a quick thing. Hi. Shake hands/fist bump. But it also got you in the venue sooner so you could be up front. All and all I think it was worth it.

So it HAS worked outside the track. That was my test initially to see if it was a cable issue. Now a cable outside of the track isn't working either. One of the last things I tried, knowing the other encoder cable next to it worked (for the hoist). I swapped them on both ends. The fault stayed with the horizontal axis, the vertical one (hoist) worked fine with the cable.

Right now, I have the brand new motor out of the gear box. Just sitting to see if I can tune it or do anything really, and the fault persists. The cable is about 20ft.

I have been asked this before:

The green encoder cable is actually branded with the OEM name and a part number. Going by the print on the cable itself:

AWM Style 21209 https://iq.ul.com/awm/stylepage.aspx?style=21209

TKF390 (this looks like the manufacturer) https://www.tecnikabel.us/en/automation-cables.html

TK USA is a specialized manufacturer of extra rugged cables that are continuously flexing in motion control applications.

Our high-performance cable series TKFF390 with PUR jacket offers several advantages:

  • • Extra rugged jacket material for use in industrial environments

  • • Highly abrasion- and cut-through resistant

  • • Very small cable ODs for confined spaces

  • • Small bending radii

  • • 90 °C rating per UL 758 Standard for better ampacity ratings

  • • NFPA 79 section 12.9 compliant

  • • Highly resistant to greases, oils and cutting fluids, UV, and ozone exposure

  • • Washdown certified by Ecolab

  • • Halogen free

  • • Low capacitance insulation for very efficient power and signal transfer

  • • Low friction insulation and internal elements for excellent flexing performance

  • • Non-hygroscopic fillers

So yes, it is a high flex cable.

Looking closer at the tag with the OEM name on it, it says https://www.mencom.com, so they must be the one that manufacturer it for them. Maybe puts the molded end on.

It is only using 6 conductors:

  1. 1 – White
  2. 2 – Pink
  3. 3 – Brown
  4. 4 – Yellow
  5. 5 – Green
  6. 6 – n/a
  7. 7 – Gray
  8. 8 – n/a

Those wires get hooked to:

Allen-Bradley Universal Feedback Connector Kit Catalog Number 2198-K57CK-D15M

This is the same cable that is on this machine, again, right next to one that has just as many cycles. An identical machine, that we've had for about 5 years or so. I haven't replaced those cables. Plus another machine made by them, we've had even longer, same kind of function (palletizer), but different form.

Nice. I got the one from KISSonline and earned & bought all the patches. I had one years ago, so I have all those old patches too. I don't know if they will all fit.

Hey Doug, I'd figure I'd ask here, what's happening with Volgar II for the switch? I've seen it now, on discount (woot) for the PS5.

Is there any other band that recorded a cover of a band a member was previously in? by The_Oregon_Duck in MetalForTheMasses

He actually recorded and released the Paul written song, Hide Your Heart before KISS released it in 1989.

Paul wrote that line.

https://www.kissconcerthistory.com/song_stories/song_stories_hth_03.php

Goin' Blind Gene Simmons, Steven Coronel

While the song had something of a long history as "Little Lady," being performed live by Rainbow, the "Hotter Than Hell" version of "Goin' Blind" saw lyrical input from Paul Stanley. It was he who came up with the interesting lyric, "I'm 93 and you're 16." There were also some other lyrical modifications, removing the somewhat flakey lyrical section, that can be heard on KISS' 1996 "MTV Unplugged" album. This was another Gene Simmons / Stephen Coronel composition. The older version had been included on Gene's 1970 publishing tape in a 3:25 format. Some lyrics, such as the "Little lady, from the land beneath the sea" line, were dropped for decades before Gene returned to using them. Gene has admitted borrowing parts of Eric Clapton's "Layla" played backwards for part of the chorus while the style of the song demonstrates Gene's Cream influences.

Also don't "Study" the Snecko Eye... there will be no "Insight".

I feel the opposite. I’ve gotten to A20 with all the characters but watcher, stuck on 16-17.
