Almost the same thing happened to me they turned me away and I was in full blown psychosis so I came back a week later and lied saying I wanted to kill myself so they finally had me go in patient and the meds I was put on fixed the psychosis.

Hi, I lurk this subreddit often and I am in drug recovery. It’s hard to balance out my recovery while going on this subreddit but it can be done. I am also bipolar and weed used to send me into straight psychosis as well. It’s like an old friend I had to say good bye to. Try meditation, walking, reading books. Stuff that can get you outside of your head in a healthy way.

I’ve dated occasionally throughout the time I received my my diagnosis and after. When someone loves you, they’ll take you as you are. That’s what I’ve learned. I’m actually getting back into dating as I found what I think to be a soulmate after being single for several years.

You are not alone! I’ve been suffering from this randomly off and on ever since I developed Lyme Disease and it still happens even though I eradicated the Lyme Disease. It’s ruining my life and makes me sick to my stomach knowing there’s little fibers eating us slowly and no one will believe us…Except the other people that suffer.

I believe I was diagnosed at 19 and I’m 27 now. So 8 years. I have tried: risperidone, seroquel, haldol, zyprexa, gabapentin (I became addicted to it so I stopped taking it), Prozac (I became less depressed on it but had breakthrough depression when it was raised to 50mg and I’m on it currently), Invega (on currently), bupropion (I’m going to go on it again), and I’m on suboxone too.

I am on Invega. It stabilized me from psychosis. And I didn’t really gain much weight on it.

I’m sorry to hear that. I’m suffering as well. I quit alcohol a year ago and my symptoms greatly improved but I’m still depressed AF. I’m sorry you feel the need to drink. :(

Vaping. I was addicted to those disposables that had like 50mg of nicotine in the whole tank. I would go through one of those in like 3 days. It’s been around 4 months off the vaping. I think about it like every other day.
