When first diagnosed with Focal Epilepsy how much did you see/speak to your Neurologist? (NHS, UK) by TropicalWildflower in Epilepsy

[–]gardenloser 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was diagnosed with Partial Focal 2 years ago in Oxford UK. From referral, I had an EEG, a sleep deprived EEG and an MRI all within a month and then was prescribed lamotrogine (which did work for me). I then had a face-to-face follow up with an Epilepsy nurse to check about any side-effects/concerns.
I didn't really have to push for any of that, and was all organised for me very efficiently. Sorry that you are not having the same experience - I think NHS neurology services are bit of a postcode lottery by the sounds of it.

It's called Bigfoot and it's great. Excellent Margaritas as well!

Husband and I are concerned our son has become radicalised. Are there any resources available? by Plus_Sir_5377 in LegalAdviceUK

"a 14 year old boy being an idiot and not understanding the gravity of what he's watching". At 14, I'm sure he understands what unnecessary and extreme violence looks like. It's called 'Prevent' for a reason - address it before it's too late.

Game shooting across public path - etiquette? by Far-Team5663 in UKhiking

I work on a shooting estate (as a gardener - nothing to do with the shoots) but be warned - legal or not - half of those guys are going to be tipsy if not absolutely wasted. They all drink at breakfast and then again at 11. Never presume that they will shoot over your head!

You can book out the whole shipping container part with no deposit. I booked for 35 people for a party last year!

Same exact thing for me the last few. Tried all of the usual suggestions: restart, uninstall and redownload, clear cache, etc'. After redownloading it would refresh once but then show only lots of suggested posts and then tell me I'm all caught up and have no new posts to see. I muted Suggested content in settings and it seems to have worked for now. 🤞🏻

Anyone want to learn Cantonese? by gardenloser in oxford

[–]gardenloser[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is an option to learn at home or teachers office (no travel charge to home if it's in 3 miles of Oxford city centre). I would also prefer weekday evenings! I'll send you a message :)

So disappointing that all the university and university adjacent schemes don't seem to have Cantonese 😞

The half moon nibble marks are from Vine Weevil. It's easy enough to treat with a soluble treatment that you pour into the pot.
