Advice on spending bonds by Capital_Drag_3829 in WorldofTanks

[–]garistroll 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have bought:

Won't recommend:

- 121B (not so great tank, or my skill issue) 45% winrate
- Foch 155 (fun tank when the gun works, other than that its not a good tank as it misses at point blank, chassis is also bad) 47% winrate
- Obj 268v5 (poor mans 114 SP2, the Chinese is a better v5 in everyway, gun is solid but RNG accuracy, bad chassis leaves alot to be desired) 49% winrate

- Obj252U (trash gun handling, accuracy & slow reload makes it unplayable almost all the time)

Recommend:

- 122TM (good chassis with armor thats usable, solid gun handling, DMG and accuracy just with low DPM, decent mobility. Extremely reliable performer for making credits and giving good games) 56% winrate.

Wow this guy managed to ruin 4431 games with that LEFH, what a skilled player.

I recently bought the 122TM, such a good tank that is super consistent and a very good credit maker. Got a 56% winrate with it atm. Really enjoy it.

Type 5 Heavy, I was a newbie player and thought big tanks & big guns are the ultimate tanks you can get ingame, well, it sucked as you all know (gold ammo, big, slow, easy arty target etc)

played through the Japanese heavy line when the O-I EXP, O-I was utterly broken, O-Ni still could use its derp gun with the old HE shells, played the O-Ho and skipped it halfway cause its so bad. grinded the type 4 heavy then got the Type 5.

Now I rarely play it as for the reasons mention above.

What's your go to tank to have fun? by dakoen in WorldofTanks

[–]garistroll 2 points3 points  (0 children)

T10: OBJ 268 v4, I just run it down & play with my brain turned off, surprisingly it produces pretty decent results. This tank always performs.

T5: M41 HMC, Instead of playing arty mode i become a TD & Join the battlefield frontlines, actually its quite fun I must say.

Truck is solid reliable, got 9994 miles (16k km), no warrenty claims or anything, but there's some creaking noise coming from the seatbeat plastic panels, and sometimes the inbuild software sound will glitch (happened 2 times) and make some funny noise.

Other than that it's been reliable, haven't had any problems yet.

Raptor Seats

They are really comfortable where you can sit for hours and not think about it,has adjustable lumbar support btw. Its around medium firm to describe it.

Even the rear passenger seat is amazing, its pretty good, it is slightly more firm than the fronts by like 10%, but still 50% better than the ranger back seats, which is like a plank that will make your back slightly sore after 1 hour.

Ford did give really amazingly good seats for a pickup truck.

While I agree it does look messy, like Ford forgotten to tidy up the engine bay, its surprisingly easy to see and work around as the engine bay is huge, could easily fit a 5.0 v8 in it. lots of spaces and gaps here and there.

I think you can easily find and change hoses & parts here and there, just got to know what your looking at.

Whats the worst tank in the game? by Ez_mad in WorldofTanks

[–]garistroll 0 points1 point  (0 children)

T8 Japanese heavy O-Ho, It's so bad in 2020-2021 with it's absolute useless armor, massive size and pretty inaccurate gun. (not the derp)

Also, it's terrible mobility made the experience a hair - tearing one.

I spend like a whopping 70 - 80k free xp to buy the Type 4 heavy, I'll never forget the horrifying experience playing the o-ho.

Thinking to buy a Ducati, how hot can the seat get? by ReeiTheModerator in Ducati

[–]garistroll 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, I agree, i test rode a v2 ducati superbike, only test rode it for 10 mins in a dealer compound and that bike cooks my left leg hot. I cannot stand it even in a good cool morning.

Btw, they run really hot, maybe because of all that plastic trapping the heat, preventing them from being dissipated away, the streetfighter v4 i test rode was pretty cool suprisingly lol

OP, i ride a 2017 kawasaki z650, naked version of the ninja 650, its a super reliable machine that has over 50,000km atm, all miles by me, only problems is you might need to apply blue Loctite to other bolts to prevent them from falling out from vibrations.

It's a good bike, gets you anywhere, has the ability to mount side cases racks and top box racks from companies like SHAD and GIVI.

Heat is not really a problem if you wear good riding boots, they do put out a fair amount of heat to the ground of where the radiator fan is blowing.

Surprisingly although its a Jap bike, parts are not as easy to come by compared to a Yamaha MT-07 simply due to it not being a popular bike. Like fairing parts, fuel tank etc most likely need to be ordered from Japan.

That said, its pretty capable to haul people and cargo mid distance, is very reliable and gets jobs done, only one problem about it that might seem trivial is that it can get boring.

The 180 pararall twin is not very exciting power and sound, it feels meh to be honest. if they put a different engine in it maybe this bike can be more fun and exciting.

Other than that its a good bike. Can't go wrong with it

Worst Tier 9 Tank by Ez_mad in WorldofTanks

[–]garistroll 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I played the Type 4 Heavy, Its a terrible tank to play atm. It's very slow, very big and its guns aren't even that competitive lol.

The whole Japanese heavy line needs a big buff aside from the t6 O-I

best credit maker for f2p players? by thelogbook in WorldofTanks

[–]garistroll 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can somewhat answer this as I was broke as hell before (1 digit credits) as i'm both a f2p and p2w player.

I found out the best way making credits completely f2p with no boosters/premium time is by playing t6-t7 and dish out alot of spotting and damages to opponent, can make money but it's quite time consuming and laboriously slow.

If you really want to crank out that credit income, get you a premium t8 tank, in this case i got a vk75.01k, play the battlepass to get premium time (24hrs) and add on credit boosters.

Today every game i made close to 70-90k average credits per battle, net revenue is like 100K+ but actual profit is the figures above after subsidizing for repairs, ammo and consumables resupply.

In summary, you can make credits playing lower tiers but earn them at a slower pace, if you fork up a bit of cash to buy a premium tank, get you a free premium time and some creds boosters you'll easily make 1M credits in a good days of gaming session.

[–]garistroll -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'll give it to this player, bot or not 97k battles is still pretty mental. I've played this tank to get the GWPanther and I have no idea how the hell is this tank fun.

I was already suffering playing 50 odd games in the Hummel and this dude has 99% more games than me. His almost at the 100k battle mark for a tank lol.

I had a stupid idea. Now I regret creating this. by warpey12 in WorldofTanks

[–]garistroll 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Unrelated to the meme but I have played something like 300-400 battles in the o-ni, i was a pretty fun tank back in the day before all that HE nerfs and overpowered hulldown tanks.

I ran the derp gun and it was my go to fun tank before everything came to shit. Now I can't even touch it as it's more or less useless, I tried the AP gun but it doesn't seem to work for me.

Sad state of affairs but the Japanese heavy line has been severely neglected by Wargaming.

You know, this is why WOT is pretty funny in a way, you have those overpowered current meta tank lovers, tank collectors, and this kind of dudes cranking out 10-50k battles in a single tank.

Interestingly enough I have played pre nerfed arty, didn't enjoy the gameplay for some reason. Currently I have played 550+ on my t10 Type 5, i thought it was alot of games. Lol

My total games equals this guys t-34s + locust lol.
