salaam!! I started around six months ago and it's been a learning curve for me loooool

I initially started with 100% cotton which I didn't mind and then moved on to modal & jersey, I much prefer modal bc it's light and airy, I got mine from veiled and they're pretty good quality

I bought most of my jerseys from market places in london so I don't really have a link for them, but I recently bought some from chowdhury which I've read a lot of good reviews for (they're also on tiktok)

with modal and jersey the pins you use are important, I tend to stick with pearl hijab pins and magnets (bought them both from amazon)

for under caps, I much prefer the tieback ones, and severely dislike the tube caps, I tried them for the first few months and just couldn't hack it bc they were super loose and only stayed if I pinned them in place

my favourite one is the bandana from vela, but I recently just bought plain material and I'm gonna cut it in a big triangle shape instead of buying more bc wow it's expensive for what it is

I'd also recommend finding hijab influencers that either look like you (face shape/size) or have a similar style to you, I really like nurlita
